Yes! I was waiting to see about his wife! This was very well done, I've seen a similar situation ("we have an understanding") done in a few other fics but this one feels like it was executed the best so far.

This was great, great, great! I really like how he hasn't yet mentioned his wife, yet Sano was asking about who really owns the house. The servant is a good character too and I instantly started thinking of all the previous servants Saitou must have had, all those people he had to go through before he found one who could put up with him...

The second chapter was just as good as the first... or maybe better?! I'm so happy I found this fic of yours! I especially liked how he seemingly left while Sano was still talking to him.

I had opened this fic in a tab, got to the end of the first chapter and went "noooo!", then noticed there were more chapters. I'm SO glad! I'm really wondering about Saitou's "friend". Also I think this has inspired something in the fic I'm writing now (just Sano being offered food by Saitou in a deal that Sano likely shouldn't accept if he wants to keep his dignity intact).

Well, I'm kind of curious about how Sano's undercover assignment went, but considering that he and Saitou are eating watermelon, I think I can guess, LOL. :P I enjoyed this story, though parts of it seemed to move a little too quickly, and I thought that you kept Saitou and Sano mostly in character really well! I hope you decide to write more for this fandom and keep up the good work! :)

I loved reading this story however I think you should up the rating to at least 'T' if not 'M'.

It's only been a couple million years since I last read this, but I Googled "Rurouni Kenshin, Saitou, Tokimaru" just now, hoping to find "Resolutions" in a moment of nostalgia and imagine my surprise at finding this again. After drifting through Saisa for two years, I can confirm what I guessed back in '05. Definitely one of the best SaiSa fics out there. Not that there are that many, really, but this is very well-written and plotted. Any chance you'd return to the fandom?
