This was... heartbreaking. Thank you for writing it. Your Neville's slow realization, the stages you have him go through, the box, Gran, the hospital, culminating in the abortive Killing Curse...it's wonderful and perfect.

This is by far the deepest look at Neville I've ever seen on fan fiction, and it was amazing! You managed his inner struggle perfectly, I hadn't even thought of what he must have been going through! Amazingness! Now, please excuse me while I go cry my eyes out.

This was insanely good. I never actually thought about how Neville would feel when he found out Moody was actually Crouch. I can't even imagine. This is perfect. You did Neville's emotions really well and kept him in character. I feel like this is the perfect explanation on how Neville really bucked up and came through in Books 5-7. Excellent work.

Y'know, this really fits the personality change and growth we see in Neville over the course of the series from this point! It began so charmingly and Neville being so unassuming, and then you really get into his thoughts. you are an expert at that, by the way, getting into character heads. This was nice and subtle, and I like how jerky the thoughts were.

Good job! There is never enough written about Neville. I could see something like this happening. Lets hope he gets a bigger role in the next book. I love Harry, but Neville is a true hero because he was not the one Voldemort chose but he made the choice to fight alongside Harry himself. It's not something he had to do, and it's not easy, but he is trying to make a difference.

I found this in Bursts of Brilliance and I have to say it definitely lives up to its Sorting. I loved how Neville was finally able to scream and yell out all the hurt he'd been holding in for so long. Damn Fudge for being so quick to order a Dementor's Kiss. At least Nev gets a crack at the Lestranges the next year.

Ahh, poor Neville! I never thought about Crouch being at St Mungos... poor boy. Great story!

Most excellent. I've never seen a story dealing with what Neville might have been feeling if/when he found out who "Professor" Moody really was. You did a good job with it. It was a bittersweet way of explaining at least partly why Neville's attitude changed somewhat during fifth year. Neville's just wonderfull. I usually try to find constructive crit for fics, but really there's nothing that I can find with out searching. Oh, by the way, I'm the one who asked you for those Neville icons. Figured I'd see what you'd have. Very good.

Ah, poor Neville. Surely they wouldn't keep Barty Crouch Jnr's body tho, when it has no soul? And I think having parents that are insane would be worse than having dead ones. Harry knows his parents are dead, adn can get over it. Neville has to see his parents and they don't remember him. He has a hope that will never be fulfilled, but always hoping and never knowing if they're going to be allright is worse than knowing they're not. At least Harry can remember his parents as they were. All Neville knows of his parents are complete messes that have next to no chance of getting better.
