r chapter 1 . 7/30 I used to read this story in the past and it was one of the best TrunksxPan story! I loved the sexual tension you depicted between Trunks and Pan - and let me tell you one thing in response to the "guest": I can tell from personal experience that it does make you gaga in the head! It's like something in your head shuts down, your rationality, and you make the dumbest decisions in your life because your body is controlled either by your d* or c*. It's like you have no control over your decisions. You depicted that really well and accurately! I think your story is a metaphor for what happens when two individuals allow their hormones to take control of them. However, I think it's truly fortunate the Pan -and- Trunks are two truly "clean" individuals in your story who are not envious of other people more fortunate than them and do not convert what others have, or even worse try to ruin them. In nowadays society, this has become something really rare and even in fiction it has become even rarer. |
Okay chapter 14 . 7/4/2019 I don’t see why someone should or would report you? The rating was there from the beginning, and it’s not like this fic is filthy. The smut is, while definitely arousing, not super detailed? There’s more drama in this than anything else, so I just can’t see a reason for someone to complain like that. (And anyone who does is either very immature or very foolish, take your pick.) But if it IS taken down (and it’s been more than ten years, so I doubt that), I beg you to please reconsider and post it on AO3 instead. I’d even send you an invite for a user code if I had to, just to ensure this fanfiction is preserved. It would be such a waste if I couldn’t go back to this fic anymore, and I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks that. |
Okay chapter 11 . 7/4/2019 I know this is done and all, but I think this turn of events is absolutely unfair. We have Bulla, who wants to use Pan to get to Goten, Trunks, who is lusting after her, and Bulma, the worst of them all, as she’s sacrificing Pan for the sake of her kids’ happiness. While Pan, on the other hand, doesn’t have anyone but herself for support. Actually, the characterization is kind of off for all of them, but that wasn’t the reason why I originally dropped this. (Then again, in Super, Bulma was willing to befriend Whis in order to save only her family, so I can’t be so sure. And Bulla was charmingly intelligent in GT. Their characterization could be a bit more of a realistic touch on them, honestly.) It was probably because of what I stated above. Maybe it hit too close to home; maybe I was just uncomfortable with how she’s psychologically and emotionally used and abused by the Briefs family. And it doesn’t look like there’s any redemption either, although I’m probably making snap decisions since I’m only halfway there. But when I thought of a really good TP fanfic, despite not completing this one, I returned back to this. I’m going to try my best to stick with it despite the angst, but I wanted to say that above all else, this really is a great story. A pang of turmoil is a sign of a job well done. |
Guest chapter 28 . 7/12/2017 There is a huge, HUGE difference reading this story when you're 14 versus when you're 22. Maybe it has to do with growing up, getting experience in the world, and becoming more aware, but I'm not the naive girl I was years ago. This was a favourite of mine back when I read it in 2009. I bookmarked it immediately! I thought Trunks was super hot and endearing, I was mad Pan didn't forgive him faster and hurt that Trunks was feeling miserable, Goten was such a cutie and I was upset at Bra for not giving him a chance, and I loved all of the resolutions and was glad they all got happy endings. I'm sorry to say after rereading it, I can't understand what it was that made me love this story in the first place. My reactions this time around to everything were vastly different and now as an adult that I see what happened to Pan, I actually felt ill reading how she hopped back into a relationship with her abuser. I felt ill reading how she became a victim and no one did anything about it but even encouraged the two people in a toxic relationship to get back together. Aside from your excellent writing and capable storytelling abilities, I can't say I was satisfied with the story or the ending. The awkward and clearly rushed (and confusing) epilogue aside, the relationships between the characters left much to be desired. Bra and Goten had the best story. I don't have complaints there except for Goten's reasoning on why he was in love with Bra. He sees her strictly as like a little sister until he sees how hot she is and suddenly he's in love? Pass. Ubuu and Marron just didn't have enough and all their drama felt seriously contrived because you didn't build up their relationship from the start like you did the other two couples and you didn't go in depth for them. Trunks and Pan was a disaster. I still maintain it was an abusive relationship and until Trunks owns up to the fact that he ABUSED her (not hurt or took advantage of, but ABUSED) and until he suffers real consequences instead of characters giving him free passes, their ending as a couple will always be disgusting to me. In addition, some of the secondary characters in this story were disappointing. Gohan 's daughter was fucked over by a grown man (who was 40 years old!) and he did nothing but sit there to let her learn a lesson. What lesson? That she deserved to be abused because she kept going back to the man abusing her? Wtf? Bulma is the sole orchestrator of a lot of horrible events that happened, yet she gets an apology and never owns up to her fuckery. That's some right bullshit there. Vegeta loved Pan like his own daughter but he was okay with letting her get fucked up by his clearly immature and moronic son? And his own daughter was suffering and he just sat there like a log. Not a word of advice or anything to her. Sidney had no purpose in the story and honestly, the way Pan treated her in the two other chapters she appeared aside from the one at the beginning, I don't understand how they were friends at all in the first place. Throughout the whole story they never talked. Pan treated her like Bra treated Paris and I didn't get it considering how close Pan and Sidney were at the beginning. And Paris' return at the end was unnecessary and ramped up drama we really didn't need, especially since she had been out of the picture for so long. Brandon's return at the end made no sense, I don't know why his appearance was even necessary, especially since his return functioned as a way to make Pan upset about her past when according to the chapter she did her full life cleanse, that shouldn't have even been an issue anymore. There is something off putting about the general theme of this story. Not one of the guys: Goten, Trunks, or Ubuu, ever showed WHY they were in love with the girls. The only reasoning I read was she was ethereal, she was beautiful, she was sexy, she was hot, she was gorgeous, she felt like silk, her touch was amazing, her kiss was great, she had a bangin bod, he couldn't get enough of her body, sex with her was amazing, couldnt get her naked body out of his head, etc etc etc. 14 year old me thought that their reasoning was sexy and fun; 22 year old me isn't impressed. Where was the love for their attitudes in life, for their strength of character, determination and desire to take charge of their own destiny, for their care for their friends and family, their desire to better themselves, etc? All I ever saw from the boy's "love" was their love of physicality and physical aspects of the girls. It was ridiculous to the point I couldn't understand why the girls would even fall for these shallow, stupid guys. There was nothing redeeming about them and the mistakes they made were childish. And mind you, these boys (they don't deserve to be called men because they acted like stupid teenage boys) were pushing 40! And that's the best they could come up with on why they loved the girls? And on the flip side, I never understood why any of the three girls fell for the guys either. They all claimed they "needed" the guys, but for what? What was it that they were so desperately lacking in their lives that they needed the guys for? The guys offered them nothing to improve their lives. It made no sense to me. If anything, the guys brought unecessary turmoil and heartbreak to the girls that they never deserved. These idiot boys were not worth it. I would have liked to see more of the girls relying on each other, less sex scenes between Trunks and Pan and potentially more for the other couples, and above that, less of that very disturbing aspect where the girls would be justifiably mad only for them to immediately feel guilty towards the boys just because they looked like puppy dogs and were miserable. The girls owed them nothing. Forgiveness needs to be earned and none of the guys really made real strides and suffered real consequences for their wrong doings. Making the girls always forgive the guys because the guys were sad for a second is fucked up as hell. It's really disappointing that my perception of this story has been completely ruined. I was going to give your other stories a go, but I'm not sure I want to to be honest. I can't trust that your views of a "sexy" Trunks/Pan relationship won't have the same abusive undertones I've seen in this story and I want no part of that. Again, be proud of your writing capabilities. They're something you deserve praise for, but this story did not hit the mark for me this time, and I'm sorry to say that I'm going to have to remove it from my bookmarked fics. |
Guest chapter 27 . 7/12/2017 Truly repulsive chapter. Trunks and Brandon the way I see it behaved exactly the same. Isn't it strange how Pam keeps ending up with abusive jackasses. Trunks is no exception. And this line is just "golden" "If she wasn't going to tell everyone, he was at least going to make her as uncomfortable as possible." Really? So Trunks is back to the disrespecting Pan's boundaries just because the power is in his hands and he can? Once an abuser always an abuser. And once again, Bulma can go fuck herself. Pan can to |
Guest chapter 26 . 7/12/2017 That's something kind of sick about this story in some ways. Marron is justified in her anger, yer one look from Ubuu and now she feels apologetic to HIM? What is it with the girls being right to be angry with the guys in their lives only for the girls to always end up "guilty" towards the guys and apologising towards the guys? It's a little disturbing. |
Guest chapter 25 . 7/12/2017 Skimmed through most of this chapter. The Pan Trunks stuff is weird. It doesn't fit in with the story and I think I can guess why. After the end of their crazy abusive relationship, they decided to be friends. There was nothing else to add to them, but I feel like you tacked on this romantic plot to extend their relationship and it's not authentic. Honestly, they should have finished the story as JUST friends with nothing between them. All this drama really feels contrived. It came out of nowhere and the whole "pregnant pan" mystery was pretty aggravating. This story had been completely straightforward up to that point so I really didn't understand why the mystery aspect was even added in the fist place. And as usual, Pan and Trunks make me want to hurl when they're together. Gross. |
Guest chapter 24 . 7/12/2017 If Pan is actually pregnant, I feel sorry for her. Trunks can kiss my ass. I don't care about his mellow attitude. The fact is he got away with abuse and everyone let him. The fact is, the characters continue to press that "She's an adult she can make her own decisions" bullshit as if trying to convince the reader and themselves of that when it's obviously not true. What is obvious is that she was taken advantage of and had very little control because of his power in the relationship. And I still haven't been convinced that Trunks actually loves her aside from her physical body. This Marron Ubuu drama is a little boring to be honest and the whole misunderstanding/pregnant mystery thing is pretty annoying. |
Guest chapter 23 . 7/12/2017 "Hell, Pan had been an Ubuu. And, being an Ubuu, she knew that the boy had been aware of what Marron was capable of in relationships before he slept with her. Pan had certainly known with Trunks." Unbelievably fucked up. Pan's a victim of abuse and blaming herself. Yikes. I hope this whole Paris stuff isn't contrived drama. |
Guest chapter 22 . 7/12/2017 Hmm, I haven't been invested in Marron and Ubuu, because we got quick summaries, but not enough depth of everything and every conversation. I'm pretty indifferent. I wish we had known more about their friendship and relationship and every nuance of their conversations and coupling. When we first saw Marron and Ubuu, she was acting like he was a shit stain and he was like a lovesick puppy who followed her everywhere, but all of a sudden they're best friends and she loves him? Hmmm. It's a little hard to buy so I'm not sold on their relationship. But it's better than TP for sure. As for Pan/Trunks, they're nauseating. And I still see Trunks as abusive. That scene where his instinct was to get up and loom over Pan all up in her face to intimidate her? Just another addition to his list of abusive tactics. I'm glad Pan has her spunk and fire back, but really, fuck Trunks. He has seriously not learned a lesson and he's acting like he's so miserable only because he lost her now. You can't be remorseful of your actions after the fact (TWICE) and expect it to be okay. Pan may have forgiven him already, but I sure as hell won't until he gets curb stomped by Gohan and even then he still needs therapy or something to get over his superiority complex and abusive behaviour. The fact that no one has given him an actual punishment is messed up. He actually fucked up a 25 yo woman so bad she got depressed. This is a 40 year old grown man (not a BOY) and he's acting like a dumb as rocks little brat. He needs professional help. The only reason he's all miserable now is because he no longer has his toy to play with and mess up. He's not sorry because he did it. He's sorry because he was caught. He can't even muster up a simple apology. What a fucknut moron. Never trust adults who can't say they're sorry. Those are usually the most abusive kind of individuals that can be found. |
Guest chapter 21 . 7/12/2017 Goten and Trunks both fucked up and are stupid as shit, but Trunks was beyond worse. Goten was honest with Bra, told her he was engaged, and in the end SHE chose to end anything and kicked Goten out. He never put her in a situation where she had no control and he didn't take advantage of her even when he figured out she loved him. Ignoring someone who loves you because you're about to get married isn't the same thing as taking advantage of someone who loves you to use them for sex. That's nowhere near as bad as what Trunks did to Pan. Not even on the same level, so I have no idea why they're acting like it was. And in the end Goten says not to hurt her again and I'm so fucking lost? Like what? You shield victims of abuse from their abuser! You don't offer them up again on a silver platter. And that's what Pan is, a victim. Her actions are literally reflecting exactly those of one who escaped an abuser. The all consuming grief and depression, then trying to change her entire life from her apartment to cutting her hair (big sign!). But even now that she's free, she still can't escape the abuser because he's still on her mind. She still keeps stuff that has to do with Trunks and above that, she feels guilty towards him, as if she even owes him a second of her time again. This is all alarming. Those are very telling signs of someone who has suffered abuse and still is trying to reconnect with the abuser because they can't really get out of their clutches. Why on earth does she feel guilty over him when he literally wrecked her to the point she couldn't get out of bed or eat normal food? That's not normal. Trunks has still received no punishment for his actions and it's pissing me off. And Bulma can go choke. What a cunt. She fucked everything up and in the end she still can't even own up to her fuckery that caused the heartbreak of not one, not two, but SIX people. SIX. In one fell swoop. It's crazy! I swear everyone is on drugs in this! |
Guest chapter 20 . 7/11/2017 Nah, Trunks can go rot in hell. I feel no sympathy for Trunks AT ALL. I don't care how willing Pan was, she's younger and inexperienced and naive and Trunks took advantage of that. There was a definite power difference. Trunks had all the power in this relationship. He was a predator who abused Pan. He fell in love with her? Fell in love with what exactly? Not once have we seen him act like he even liked or loved anything about her except sleeping with her. He only likes the physical stuff and once again, he's shown that it's only when he doesn't have her anymore, when he can't have her that he wants her. He's shown an unbelievably alarming number of signs of being a predator and an abuser in an abusive relationship and I hope Pan stays the hell away from him. He doesn't love her, and I blame Bulma for this whole fucked up mess. She can go rot in hell too. And Bra is fucked up to tell her brother not to pass up on an opportunity if he's forgiven. He deserves every single awful thing that happens to him by the hands of anyone else. He deserves to suffer and I hope he does. What the fuck is wrong with him? I really hope Pan doesn't forgive him so easily, though I wouldn't be surprised if she did considering she's a victim of real abuse. |
Guest chapter 19 . 7/11/2017 This is why Bra will always be the goat. She won't take shit like that from anyone. All or none. Love this girl. Are all the Sons dumb as fuck? Seriously Goten wtf? And Pan, I won't even touch on. Forgive me for skimming the lemon. Your writing is awesome, but reading Trunks/Pan coupling is abusive to my brain when they're so toxic and I'm literally getting sick, so I skimmed. |
Guest chapter 18 . 7/11/2017 I used to think Pan was self assured, but she's also incredibly stupid. I'm pretty disappointed that she's turned out this pathetic. I liked her spitfire attitude so much, and now she's just become this wimpy little thing. Incredible how much I can't really stand her right now. As usual, Bra is the GOAT. I really love this girl. She's fantastic |
Guest chapter 17 . 7/11/2017 Fine, Marron doesn't have to eat shit anymore. But Trunks def does. Trunks, eat shit! |
