I just wanted to say that this fic is short, yet so amazing. You've captured everything so well: Alanna, the Black God himself, her love for Jonathan. I really believe that Alanna loved Jon, and will always love him. (And I could never understand why Tamora Pierce didn't have them end up together; Alanna bloody well settled down and had kids with *anyway*, and she's a far better character and match for Jon than Thayet by far.)

This fic really helps heal some of my disappointment over how LR ended. Added to my favourites, and thank you for writing it.

A nice change with all the fluffiness floating around in the TP fandoms. Not that I don't indulge from time to time, *cough* :D, but... Yeah. I'm glad to see the stong, self-willed Alanna back. Write some more of these.

I usually read then and grow bored, or think they're pretty useless (truth be told) but here I stop and read it and not only do I find it intresting, but purposful, and perfect. You don't need to write more, or less or anything, its just perfect. Excellent.

All I can say is...WOW! I dunno what the challenge is, but whatever it is, I think you met it. It was veyr well written, and I liked how it tied in with the actual books, and not in a badly-thought out way. It was very good. Kudos!
