Wow, this story was amazing! I know you wrote this about 7 years ago..but wow! This is beautifully written! AWESOME job here! May God bless you! I think you should write when Jesus returns 3 days later however this story is great! The characters including the mother, father and the children were completely spot-on.

except the Pharisees weren't the ones that made Him carry the cross. The Romans (I myself am Italian) did only criticizim in otherwise a great perspective. The fics in this section, (excepting a few such as this one) are hollow, void of meaning.

Wow that was well written and incredibly compelling. I don't think the whole disclaimer thing is at all necessary. I don't like to see anyone bullied into justifying their writing when their writing is simply beautiful and full of truth. A disclaimer tends to give the indication that there may be something wrong with your story, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it at all. Don't ever feel that you somehow have to justify the telling of a truthful message, just because someone, somewhere will not like it. I think that's an important issue in these rather bizarre times.

Powerful...and I don't think it was Anti-Semetic. Very nice.

I'll tell you right off that the story is well written and well-done. There's descriptions (a plus), and the dialogue seems natural, instead of wooden as some biblical based stories can be. However, I find the implied anti-Semitism (excuse my poor spelling) of this story troubling, as it is basically about the conversion of a Jewish girl (what was wrong with the religion she was following before?). I'm sorry but the protesilizing (again excuse my spelling) sinks the story - I'm not Christian (despite the fact I sometimes read Bible based stories out of curiosity), I have no desire to be, and I hate being witnessed to. But the story is nicely written, I'll give you that...but then again, some say the works of Hitler (a noted anti-Semite of course) were well written also.

If no dislike towards Jews was meant by this story, perhaps you should put up a disclaimer saying so, it would help to ease my mind at least :)
