Once more here and once more disappointed that this tale has not been finished. Pretty, pretty please? At least one more chapter with Helm's Deep and Boromir rejoining the Fellowship (or the rest of it) with some renewed sense of honour? E.g. after saving someone (possibly Aragorn) in the battle despite his injuries?

Any chance of this story being completed? It is worth the effort. Not yet another unfinished orphan on Fanfic? Please.

I forgot - great idea with Boromir getting to Helm's Deep this way. Hopefully they all can meet there once again and survive once more. Isengard (with our anxious hobbit friends waiting) comes right after that, right? Looking forward to that one especially - should Boromir be found out and "forced" to rejoin the Fellowship or what is left out of it. :)

Nice piece. I know it has been ages but it would be really great if you would go on with this - there are certainly a couple of good Boromir Lives! pieces out here but I never get tired to discover all the possible AUs for our brave warrior. :)

I hope this fic is not abandoned. And I really hope that Boromir, should you continue, will meet his friends again in Helm's Deep and they will manage to convince him that his own name, Boromir, is honourable enough. (-:

I know you've probably already heard this but please as time permits please write more of this. I'm hooked! I loved your story. I want to know how it ends. Boromir casting away his old life is very interesting - especially to the point of cutting his hair, rather like a penitent. He seems to be trying to make up for his failure, but he also seems a bit insane, which is rather how I like him in AUs where he's survived.

(First, a warning- I can be somewhat critical... and long-winded)

Love it! Loved Chapter two especially- The incredible guilt trip Boromir goes through, his feeling dirty and a failure, etcetera etcetera, I think you got that perfect.

Wasn't too sure about Faramir's reaction- well, that's probably pure personal opinion, as I'm also a big Faramir fan and I think he's just too wise to lay blame on anyone.

Also wasn't too sure about Aragorn et al. leaving Boromir behind- but that's a tricky situation, because if fellowship's such a big theme in LOTR, then likewise it makes sense that they WOULD go after M&P, and leave B. seeing as he's a pretty capable guy, so... Well, I would have taken the easy way out, and had them think that he was dead. IMHO.

What else... curious to see how it turns out, if you write anymore, definitely! And I love the stuff between Boromir and Merry and Pippin. Hm... must read that other story sometime :)

This is an awesome AU story! Please continue; I haven't read of this sort of fate for Boromir in any other fanfictions- it's really unique and interesting!
