I read and read and read on and on and on and on..., then I finished reading the last sentence on the page and GUESS WHAT? There aren't the button for next chapter?! CLIFF MUCH!

Actually, you made fairly good sense with the time frame. Nearly five weeks missing would coincide well with having to uproot all that information, proof and make arrests. Poor Qui Gon, spending, I guess two weeks trying to convince someone to vote. Very very stubborn people. Keep going!
