Oh my gosh! That story took me for one heck of a ride! What happens next?

WOW! I have not attempted to read this really until I saw BB2K - which I sort of dread. It seems like it's too way out there, in comparison to the original, and that bothered me...

But if we look at it as a progression from minor supernatural things in the original (backflipping cars and flying phone booths) to the more overt otherworldly of BB2K... well, then this fiction seems like it's just progressing on to the next level.

And what a Rollercoaster ride this looks like it's going to be!

I am not going to point out inconsistencies to canon; others have already, and it seems like that wasn't the point? It doesn't have to be to be a good fic... so who cares? I am going to read this in that light, as a fun piece, with lots of potential for antics and adventure!

Please dont listen to Ella. I've read her stuff and it pretty boreing, but she thinks she's the only one who can or should write a blues brother story. Your the first person I've found that writes a car chase really well. many wont even attempt it. I really would like to see a new chapter. I've been waiting for months and I have faith you'll pick it up again.

Wow, where to begin? You'll notice this is a review for Chapter 5 because I simply can't read any more. From a structural standpoint, it's extremely difficult to read. You have several characters talking one right after the ohter in the same paragraph, it's hard to keep up. Descriptions run into one another. Story-wise, it's like a warmed-over revisit to several bad low-budget Sci-Fi Channel movies and bargain-bin mystic horror pictures. Not to mention that the out of character super-religious regurgitations of the brothers, the pointless insertion of a random girl character, and the exhibition of the complete lack of knowledge about Satanism (or the warped form you have presented here) makes it simply laughable.

Good luck on that screenwriting thing, though. I hear Sci-Fi Channel and Lifetime are always looking for more disposable writers.

Oh, and a note for your bio. It's "FRUITION"..."FRUTATION" is not a word.

As a Blues Brothers fan, I lapped up this fanfic. I could hear the actors in my head and see the visuals. With the work in computer-animation, I could see this as a wholly possible movie.

You know what, I'm rather enjoying this. You've got you plot all sorted out and your updating in faster than I can read. You must have a lot of spare time, man! Jake and his powers are great fun and I really like the scene with Cab switching from good to evil. Keep up the good work!

Hey, so far I love it! It's a great idea for a saga and if you keep updating this fast it won't take long! One thing though: Delany isn't Elwood's real name, it was made up for him by The Penguin, but what they hey, we can do what we damn well like in fanfiction!
