I love the parallels between Neville's Sorting and Harry's. Neville clearly belongs in Gryffindor because of his bravery, but I also like the idea that he chooses to go in there. Neville is utterly squishable.

I don't like this chapter. Neville really does belong in Gryffindor. The hat should be able to see that. "There's nothing in your head the Sorting Hat can't see..."
