I really liked this chapter. Rhade's POV was nice to have. His thoughts on Beka and how much she's growing on him. I liked the insight to their morning coffee ritual:)

Anywho, this was a great chapter. Great way of bringing Rev in, he's always been close to Beka and was her compass. The lead up and foreshadowing to Beka's cutting was perfectly set up. She's missing something within her and by an accident her mind is telling her that this can dull what's going on in her life.

I can't imagine what that would be like, I'm afraid of pain.

Well I've finally decided to get around to this story and wow. Very poignant and well delivered. Her thoughts and everything that's happening around her are completely on target.

Okay, I wasn't sure if this story was gonna make it at first, but now I really like it. You write very maturely, and now that you have a Beta, I dont see any more mistakes. As someone who also lives with depression, as well as been around people with depression, I can say so far that the story is on the money as far as what Beka thinks and feels. You need to expand a bit more on the fellings of others around her though. If you have questions about that, you can feel free to email and ask me, as I have been on both sides of the coin. Keep writing, I can't wait to see how this one is going to turn out.

Wow. Wonderful chapter. And it's so true! I've never been particularly self-destructive, though I am being treated for depression. It's like, I'm already going through all of this pain, so why add to it all? Anyway, I still understand and sympathize with Beka. I'm surprised she isn't a lot more messed up in the show.

This second chapter gives us such bright promise. It's as well done as the first, but I like it better simply because it hints at a happier future.

This was incredibly honest and deep. The dark truth behind depression is often shocking and disastrous in its revelation. You've done a splendid job of showing that. This is painful to read, but very well done.
