once again i am liking the story more and more.

also, i kakashi's eye injury happens before the kyuubi attack, during the mission that obito died. mostly because by that time, kakashi was a jounin and while the fourth (minato, since he wasn't the 4th yet at the time because that happens after obito dies) goes off somewhere, all this happens that kakashi's eye gets injured, rin getting kidnapped and kakashi not wanting to sacrifice the mission to save her but obito running off to save her anyway and forcing kakashi to follow. then during the escape, he gets hit on his blind side and is almost crushed, but obito jumps in and pushes (or throws him i believe) him out of the way and he gets crushed by the rocks instead. then rin takes a dying obito's sharingan out and implants it into kakashi to replace his injured eye. once again, the ages are wrong because as stated in the anime and manga, after three fails of the test, a student is kicked out of the academy. since naruto is stated to have taken the exam three times, that means it might have either happened when he was 10, 11, and finally 12. or like the chunnin exam, which is once every six months.

this first chapter is interesting. there are hardly any grammatical mistakes and it flows smoothly. the only thing i have a problem in is the ages. academy students (when not during times of war) normally graduate at eleven or twelve. also, kakashi's eye injury happened during the kakashi gaiden arc, which means it happens before he was thirteen and he's older than iruka by at least two years, so if iruka is fifteen then kakashi is seventeen and by that time he's already anbu, and iruka is already a genin. if you exclude itachi, and i do since he's much too young during the time this story would take place, then kakashi is the youngest member of anbu ever. besides, the kyuubi attack happened when kakashi is about fourteen. so, for his injury to be as fresh as you are protraying it in this story, he has to be at least twelve and iruka ten years old.

This is SUCH a cute fan fiction I can’t wait to see the rest, I just hope and pray that this story continues and I don’t see that it’s been abandoned! When I read the summery I couldn’t wait to see me favorite character with Genma! (A.K.A Gekko Hayate) not many stories are probable written with him in it cuz he’s dead ‘n all but I still LOVE him and read this anyways. Also cuz I love Kakashi and Iruka. So this story has it all! Except… well … it’s not done! *dramatic* OH the HUMANITY! *stops being dramatic* well I can’t wait for the next chap.

Well, despite the story's demise, it was a good read. Not many fics take place when Iruka and Kakashi are younger.

-Not to sound harsh or anything, it's just that I loose my place in the story because the paragraphs are so long...I ended up not finishing this chapter and went straight to the review button out of frustration. And the frustration is mainly because I WANT to read this story without loosing my place. Because I LIKE this story.
