I really loved this. Again, I think you’re characterisations are perfect, and I think you managed to capture Jane’s tone even better here than the previous instalment. And I loved that Kaylee made an appearance, telling Jayne he was being an idiot.

I did notice that there’s a couple run-on sentences, but this was otherwise really well written. And I loved the ending, too, because of course just being nice wouldn’t have occurred to Jayne. I think you did a great job with this :)

I'd love to see how that plan of his turned out. Somehow I think Simon likes Jayne just as he is, even if he does find him crude, rude, and a bastard most of the time.
