AHHHHHH this is full of win. Everything is spot-on and Squall's personality is PERFECT in this fanfic.

I heartily clap for you on this letter! You've just about covered every anomaly in FFVIII! Oh - and I'd like to put my own point to your...essay (couldn't find a better word). How about the costumes? Doesn't everyone think it is a bit ridiculous for the female SeeD to be running around and chopping up monsters in skirts? And on Selphie's case, it's a mini dress.

Don't get me wrong - I'm absolutely not a FFVIII hater (in fact, it was the first Final Fantasy I ever played, and I enjoyed it!) but you've just about satisfied every loop hole in the gameplay.

This is hilarious! Seriously, you had me crying with laughter the entire time. Every single problem Squall has with ff8 is totally true and this whole letter idea is genius. I have to say that the card thing is definitely my favorite. I never did get why they put that into the game.

"Escaping from prison? Stay a while and let's go a few rounds. Oh no, the Garden is under attack. Let's play CARDS! Ultimecia is about to destroy the world, but wait up, you haven't acquired Leviathan, yet!"

AND

"I have to give you credit for one thing. You never made Rinoa play cards with me on the Ragnarok. That's a plus. Or maybe it's just the same."

Those two paragraphs are brilliantly worded and every time I read them I smile. So I hope you continue to write amazing stuff, and good luck on future stories!

I read your other reviews and would like to say 'ditto' on all points, but I especially like how you manage to humorously criticize without sounding like an arrogant nerdy fanboy. (You know the type right?)

Look look look, Seifer and Squall are going to engage in the final battle to decide who is the bad boy and who is the wannabe! Wait, what the heck? Gilgamesh? WHAT? That's lame! And here I was, thinking I'd get to be spectator to the duel of the century and Gilgamesh just has to come and ruin it all.

xD Loved it. I would write an angry letter with a list too if Square messed with my image and made me a warped hero in a non-sensical fantasy game.
