Being a huge fan of Aerich and Tazendra, I loved this story. (I also loved your little introduction; you described Paarfi perfectly.) I think my new headcanon is going to be that they did have this affair, because I've always found their situation to be too sad otherwise.

Paarfi voice: perfect. Humourous situation: perfect. Managing to come up with a happy ending for those two: ONE BILLION IMPERIALS LOVE.

Thank you very much for this fic; the net can always use more Dragaera stuff, and this is very well-done (though short. I want more fic!). Tazendra and Aerich were among the best in a cast of ridiculously likeable characters, and since they brought in the romance angle, wonderfully tragic as well... and Sethra Lavode (the book) made me cry. So I, for one, appreciate a good tribute to 'em. You've made my day!
