I don't know what made me come into this forum, but I'm glad I did. May I say that I especially liked this:

"All of this has happened to me, and here I am, sitting in Selene's car while she drives, and all I can think about is what I'm going to tell my mother.

I can just see it now.

While it's funny, there's also a realism to it that made it sad at the same time. I thought this line was really telling and said so much at once; rare to find in fanfic and kudos to you for doing it.

And I like that Michael's a little angry. I don't think we ever stop to think just how he might feel to have his entire life turned upside down.

Finally, *hugs* for the Dark Shadows shout-out. My mom made me watch it with her, too (she has the DVDs; watch out, Michael) but it sort of grew on me...when I was MST3King it. But I did love seeing that shout-out.

I know you probably wrote this ages ago, but stumbling across it was very enjoyable for me. I may see if you've written anything else.

This was a very well written story, and I liked how Michael thought. One of the rare humor fics I can actually enjoy (most are written horribly).
