Excellent! I loved the way you kept looping it back to the beginning in every scene. The name Bob, however, (" 'If you're referring to Bob's claim of using a horse manure poultice...' ") didn't seem very period-appropriate. Other than that, it was wonderful.

Another story from you! It would be pointless to say that it's excellent, since I have yet to read one of yours that isn't. And I'm very pleased to read more LotR things!

Great fic. I don't see many stories from a mother's point-of-view. You have a good writing style, and you have good spelling and grammar. I'm suprised you don't have any reviews.
