Reviews for Because I Know You
Palm Tree Princess chapter 22 . 4/19/2008
Well, according to the stats at the top of the page, this story is almost four years old, and according to your author profile, you haven't posted any fanfic in two years, so the chances of you actually reading this review may be slim.

However, I'm sending one anyway. (Partly because of your oh-so-creative way to beg for reviews, which always made me laugh hysterically.)

This story was SO GOOD. You did a good job with characterization and style, which is always the hardest thing when writing fanfic. I was very, very impressed, and also I liked the ending because I am a diehard Trily shipper (much to the consternation of my sisters, who are both hardcore Rily shippers...)

So yay for you. Two thumbs up!
Beboppin' Betty chapter 22 . 11/6/2005
I'm a pretty new RFR fan, having just discovered it on Family Channel, but I'm already an avid Travis/Lily shipper. This story was fantasic! Excellently written, great flow, and palpable chemistry and emotion between T&L. I especially enjoyed it because it was more mature than a few other fics I've read. Excellent job.

love-ends-with-hope chapter 22 . 2/26/2005
Wonderful, amazing, brilliant, beautiful, gorgeous, perfect. I'm running out of adjectives for this story, but you get the idea. I am in love with this story, I would marry it if that was legal here in Canada. You had me squeeing like a fangirl several times during this story (he's Smog again! He kissed her! ect). The thing with the apple, very cute, perfect endng of a Trily. This is the best RFR story I've ever read, and one of the best I've ever read in any genre. As much as I love the story itself, I also love the little mini-stories at the end of the chapters.
Slayer2003 chapter 22 . 1/27/2005
WOW! Wondering if you remember me. It's been half a year since you finished your story and I just got around to finishing it! I must say that you've probably written the best story in the fandom! I am stuck at home with the flu today and so I've been re-reading your story in between some chicken noodle soup. I'm a little older and wiser now, and you've completely inspired me to do some more RFR writing! I'm glad you like my story so much even though I never got around to finishing it... I have to say that it wasn't my best effort. Anyways, gimme a shoutout at if you please.

Thanks for being awesome!

Romulus chapter 22 . 1/14/2005
I think this is the most Travis/Lily I've ever read. I've been reading this for two hours straight, now, and I'm finally done. Although, I don't think I wanted it to ever end. I was terrified that the ending would be sad (Travis dying in a fiery plane crash flashed through my mind at one point, don't ask why), but the ending was...perfect. There's really no other word for it.

The Ray/Lily moments in the story were definitley the best parts. You showed Ray's maturing and the strength of their friendship despite the break up. The Travis/Lily stuff in the last chapter was some of the best Travis/Lily I've ever read. The apple scene was so cute. It was sweet and romantic and amusing and very in character. And I loved Just J and the bum.

To use that word again, the whole story, from beginning through my "omg. I can't read this anymore" and my acceptance that it was an awesome story, all the way to the end, was...perfect.
Romulus chapter 15 . 1/14/2005
Beautiful, as always. This story is amazing, but I have to pause to review this chapter.

Travis' notebook made me a little teary-eyed, especially when Lily became "she." But the part that really made me cry was the Ray/Lily scene, which I have to say is probably one of the best scenes in the entire story. Especially this part:

Ray took her hand and held her gaze, "I'm always gonna be a little in love with you, Lily. But you are forever going to be my best friend. This..." he said while holding their clasped hands up for her to see, "is what best friends do."

Amazing. But, one little 'Friends' fanatic nitpick about the A/N at the end of Chapter 14. Chandler is the one who empasises "BE," not Ross. :)

myriad even. *sighs*
Boaz Priestly chapter 22 . 1/11/2005
I finished this story last night, though I really didn't want it to end. I felt a myrid of emotions as I read it. There are so many different things that I want to point out and express my admiration for, but that would take awhile. This story was awesome, from beginning to end and the little review spoofs in between. I am sure that I will come back and read it again someday.
Romulus chapter 11 . 1/10/2005
I'm pausing here because I have homework to do. It's very hard to stop, but...*takes a deep breath* I have to. You want an actual review? Okay.

I was terrified of the Ray/Lily breakup. I was afraid of Ray being too hurt, or not hurt enough. He was neither. He was clearly hurt (I cried during that scene) but has moved on in a totally believable way. I love the Travis/Lily relationship. And that kiss? *fans self* There's no other word for it besides "hot." Chapter 11 was so sweet. Fluffy, sure, but I can deal with that. And since Lily and Travis are both leaving, I'm assuming that's the last fluff I'll be getting for a while.

I really need to stop reviewing (*cough*rambling*cough*) and go do homework. But, awesome story, awesome writing...I don't want to stop but...omg. I have to. :)
Dangrassi chapter 5 . 1/9/2005
WO! ;)
Boaz Priestly chapter 15 . 1/9/2005
I thought that I would finish this tonight but there is no way to do it unless I stay up way too late again. I want to but I'll be stressed while reading and I don't want that.

I loved the personal baseball analogy joke with Ray in the last chapter, it was endearing. I also loved how you were inside of Travis' mind, thinking like he would and letting us know your perspective on how his parents would be.

In this chapter, the present that he left Lily reminded me of "Cruel Intentions". I think that movie has a very romantic but devastating ending and I feel that you are going to do the same here.
Boaz Priestly chapter 9 . 1/7/2005
This is truly amazing. You got me. So far, I've felt Travis, Lily and Ray's pain. I felt Lily as she was trying to understand the difference between love and being in love. I felt her excitment as she figured it out. I'm now feeling nostalgic as all of the RFR members are as Lily is leaving.

I really liked what you wrote here as it captured each individual of RFR (except Lily because she's thinking it):"Lily was constantly surprised by Robbie's uncanny ability to tap into the minds of the listening audience and find a short nerve. She looked around with pride. Of course Travis was there with his technical knowledge and words of wisdom. And Ray. Ray was the very heart of the people. He gave the listeners the feeling that they were right in the room with them. His open demeanor and biting humor giving the show just the right amount of levity required when tackling heavier subjects."

I have stayed up so late and though I can barely keep my eyes open, I'm having to force myself to stop here. Can I sum this up in a word? No.

If you want critque, I can not find any, sorry. I will read the rest as soon as I get to my comp tomorrow, I assure you that.
Katarik chapter 22 . 11/6/2004
I didn't want to review until I'd finished the story.

I loved this. I'm a slash girl; always have been, always will be. Trobbie is my RFR crack. This-this story is my RFR hot chocolate on a rainy winter's night.

I loved what you did with Audrey, and I loved that you had Ray be a friend as well as a boyfriend. I always felt like he had the potential to be a lot more mature than the show put out. His relationship with Travis was so...honorable. *grin*

I have the petty soul of an editor, so any story I read I critique the grammar/anything else. So-I got nothing. Congratulations. On that's extremely rare.
Scarlett Moonchild chapter 22 . 10/26/2004
OMG! That is the best story I have ever read! Not only is it about my favorite fictional characters...but it is so awesome! I even read the note that comprises the last "chapter". You truly have a talent for making wonderful stories. Yes, I believe you grew as a writer from start to finish. I have NEVER cried while reading a fanfic, but dammit I did this time. I was literally bawling when Travis left and didn't tell her. I was crying quietly when Ray figured out that he was grown-up enough to handle loving his best friend forever, no matter where time took them. And I wept happily at the end when they pulled off the surprise party and the two were reunited. I love you man...no I mean it...I LOVE you man! :)
