Aww! What a great ending. I'm sort of new to the Angel part of ffnet but this is definitely my favorite story I've read so far – you capture the (impressive) attitudes of both Cordy and Gunn perfectly, especially how they respond to one another. Great storyline, too, I like how you brought in the gang from Buffy. All in all, a fantastic read.

Okay, apologies first of all for finding and reviewing this story about a million years after you wrote it! I had to leave a comment though because I enjoyed reading this so much. I felt like I was watching an episode play out in my head because the dialogue was just spot on, and the characterisation was perfect.

I'm also one of the select few who seem to like Cordy and Gunn together as well, so I loved the fact that they got to hang around with one another and play detective for the day.

So yes, I'm going to check out your other stories because I really like your writing style (I see you've written some Dr Who fic as well - fantastic!).

I'm sorry I missed this when it was first posted. It's excellent-rather original (although it does remind me somewhat of Guise Will Be Guise) and very exciting. I liked seeing Lindsey here and, although he's not exactly "good Lindsey," he does do his part to help keep things from going badly. I do wish you had published this in chapters, in part so I could give you more than one favorable review, and also to make it easy to pick up if I had to stop in the middle. Again, a very good story.

Excellent Cordelia characterisation, it's so hard to find good Cordy-centric plots.
Your dialogue was particularly good, especially building the connection between Cordy and Gunn. And I loved all the little mentions of the Scoobies. Very accurate.
I agree with Caytlyn, I'd like to see the roles reversed. I'm sure you'd do a great Wes, and maybe some dorky Angel. Things got way too serious mid S2, and I'm a sucker for early character fic.

Ooh, I like this story. You don't often find Cordy-Gunn shippers, and I think it makes an interesting unlikely ship. This was a really nice story, even though Buffy and the others played a minor role (The Fang Gang doesn't really need them, anyway ;) ) You had personifications down almost perfectly... esp. Cordelia. Maybe you could write a sequel where Wes IS the one to get impregnated or body-snatched per Cordy's request? ~Cayt
