Does the story stink?

Well, the story is comprised of a wall of text, the writer didn't use spell check, the romance is rushed and the chapters short.

However, the first question which popped in my mind is this - how old was the writer when they wrote this? The simpleness of the prose and dialogue not to mention the latter two things - the rushed romance and the short chapters are definite indicators the writer was possibly a rather younger writer, to which I wish to point out the fact for a young writer the story isn't bad. Many of the issues I pointed out are things the writer would have grown out of if they'd kept up with things. Given the time frame, the wall of text and spell check are also rather forgivable, given the fact figuring out how to properly format let alone finding a spell check program wasn't easy for everyone, let alone a young writer.

Is there anything positive I can say about the story? Well, despite not being memorable, the story is enjoyable. There's something enjoyable about a young writers work, possibly from the innocence they bring to the table before they start getting corrupted by shipping wars and other issues young writers go through during their secondary years of education. On top of this, there wasn't anything that majorly jumped out at me regarding the story as a major error.

Truth be told, it is a bit of a bummer the writer never got off the ground after this.

Holy shit. It's older that me and this december it will be twenty years and so will I just a few weeks later. Damn I feel old.

Well, this is, um... very old. The first ever on ff.n? It's a bit bad but at least someone took the incentive to make a digimon fic and plant the seed that would eventually grow to more than 20,000 stories... gratz on that!

I'm amazed people are still coming to this in 2012 though... xD
