Hot damn, that was awesome. I love outside POVs on the couple in question and Anzu's inner thoughts and feelings in this piece are quite interesting to read and in character. And of course, her description of Yugi and Yami and how protective they are of each other is lovely. I dont think there are a lot of works that explore Yugi's side of things a lot, how he feels about Yami and his protectiveness over his darker self and all that or that allow Yami to be "weak" and Yugi to comfort him so this is really awesome to read. Great work! _

I have just finished watching this episode when I decided I needed puzzleshipping fics. It would have been so much better if it was done like this; the way that you wrote Yuugi was totally awesome. Having Anzu narrate gave it so much feeling.

Wow... I really loved that. I really love the twist you added to the episode, and this in itself would've been one hell of an episode! It's a shame that they wouldn't have added something like this, but I really do wish itd played out the same as the story. It was really well written, and I have to admit, I love Puzzleshipping stories from Anzu's POV, it's interesting to see her views on them, and her reactions, along with how they seem from an outside point of view. Loved it.

This story was simply beyond super special awesome amazing! Lol.
Haha, I really loved Yugi' s personallity in this. It was so surlrising and unexpected, but totally fitted. And just so sad for the Pharaoh. I just loved it!
And it was sad for Anzu, but tbh I didnt really feel that her. Honestly, she had it coming.. Lol
Just wonderful story. Yami and Yugi carry a bond that words can jever truly express, but its true what Yugi said in the manga, Yami is his ' irreplaceable heart and other soul'

Wish I could take the time to write a nice, long review saying all the things I love about the story but at the moment all I'm able to say is a quick wow. I love this. I love your writing style and the way you write puzzle/blind and just... wow. You're fantastic. Great job. Keep writing!

Wow. I really didn't expect to like this story as much as I do, nor did I expect to have so much fun reading it as I did.

It had my full attention from beginning to end, and I'm so glad that I read it. It's so good! The detail is perfect, and I haven't read someone else writing Anzu's point of view so well.

I like the way that you wrote everyone's characters- especially Yuugi and his other self's. Your take on Yuugi is very interesting in this story- not quite the cheerful child people see him as. I love how protective he was in this.

By the way, this story was very easy to picture. Your writing style makes it easy for me to see things happen, as if I was there. Not many authors can do this as well as you can. :)

I actually felt hurt when Yuugi said, "Not now, Anzu. I'm not in the mood." I haven't felt the emotions that a character in first person feels in a very long time. Well done!

Watching the scene play out as one of the characters would have been extremely bizarre- especially if they didn't know what was going on.

This. I blame this fic for cementing me into the ygo fanfic fandom. I'd stuck to reading oneshots, so I wouldn't be tied down, then I read this one, and I went off on a mad spree to read all of your works, damned if they were oneshots or not. Hmm fun times

Er, to the fic itself, Anzu was so real. She had tangents, was weirded out, and my favorite, she's honestly jealous. SHE wants Yugi, she doesn't want to give him up, but she realizes that she had her chance and lost it. I was sad for her (while still going yay for the puzzleshipping haha). It's nice to see an Anzu who isn't completely OOC and unrecognizable.

And I adore your Yugi. He's just so badass here. He's a quiet badass, which is hard to find, but he is. *squees as words are not enough*

The other Yugi. I love how you used this terminology instead of Yami. It just feels more canon to me. Anyway, I love seeing him break down, then come back and kick ass.

And my favorite line. "Not now, Anuz. I'm really not in the mood." That hurt over here! Yes, Yami is all yours Yugi, and everyone knows it, and who needs anyone else? Er, excluding the last part which can take a scary shape and form, I really like this line.

So this turned out to be less a review and more raving but I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the story

Wow, just wow. This story took my breath away. This is a really interesting way to rewrite the Dungeon Dice Monsters Game episode. I loved the way you portrayed Yuugi and Yami and their relationship. It's refreshing and intriguing.

love the last line in this fic...its almost so random that its funny.I actually think that this story was more effective because you used Anzu as the narrator...it allowed more of what was going on to seep in. But, all in all the story was quite good...and given the point in the series would be a perfect example. the only other thing that ever effected Yami badly was when he loat Yugi to the Orichelcos...(am I sensing a pattern here?) Anyway, as always awesome AWESOME job.
