Reviews for Kagome destroys the World
kokoronagomu chapter 2 . 3/6
cow pox is the key to small pox vaccine... people who milked cows and got cow pox were immune to small pox.

now, there's corona... wash your hands for minimum of 20 seconds, don't touch your face/eyes/mouth, sneeze into your shirt, don't hang out in crowds, get checked if you get sick (then again the current administration has mandated to test only if a patient is dying and on a respirator).
and i have to fly to phoenix and fly back after a month. :/ i already hate flying but now...

kokoronagomu chapter 1 . 3/6
pretty good fit to stuff happening around the world now.
i was inoculated through the 60s for small pox. interesting that they said it was eradicated but when my niece lived in peru for a while when she was nineteen (20 years ago) she got small pox because such things are never truly gone.
creepy how this fits so well today.

DarkUnknownOne chapter 2 . 2/15/2005
That is a good idea on how to destroy the world.. Let's hope noone who wants to destroy the world reads this o_O
The Foxen chapter 2 . 6/3/2004
Don't forget riots. Everytime something even the slightest bit bad happens, there's always at least a very small riot about it; and smallpox probably generated a large one; and if I were in a riot, intent on destroying something to piss off the government (whom I would blame for not protecting me) I would target a vaccene truck... Just to be a bitch.

EternalShadow chapter 2 . 5/14/2004
awesome piece of work, however in my opinion the world isn't destroyed, as the governments destroy each other, small pockets of humans who have survived the nuclear explosions and wars would emerge and start a whole new world.
i've always wondered what would happen then, most sci-fi never go that far...
maybe you should, or continue this story, you've got good writing skills.
inu.-sess.fan chapter 2 . 5/12/2004

Meowmixassault chapter 2 . 5/11/2004
This is interesting information...
Cougiecat chapter 1 . 5/10/2004
That was something I always did wonder about... There are probably many illnesses that were once common, but were completely removed. If they were to resurface... Ideally some of the resistances are still floating around, but without evolutionarry pressures keeping the imunity there is no guarantee.
I actually thought more along the lines of Kagome going back in time and messing stuff up there. She has been exposed to many European (and modern) diseases, and I doubt ancient Jap people could handle them any better than Naitive Americans did. Granted, she is not the only European contact Jap has had at this point, but I'm pretty sure the germs she is exposed to are very different from the ones in the feudal era.
:) Fortunately for RT, fiction doesn't have to think about things like that.
shadow of reality chapter 1 . 3/30/2004
Dude! that was a trip! Kagome inadvertently brought smallpox back and since the humanbody has lost any real resistance to it because it was thought to be wiped out then it was spread to quickly and killed everyone off. . . . you do realize that the vaccine for smallpox is kept in archives at the international headquarters for the Center for Disease Control(CDC) And that the vaccine can be Mass produced in a matter of a few months using the same techniques they use to create insulin for diabetics. . . She'd have been better off bringing somthing like a mutated variation of smallpox or even a demon virus back. . . smallpox wouldn't really be a threat. . . BUT I STILl LOVED THE STORY! - - - - - i just, you know, expected a little more from someone who usually researches EVERYTHING about their stories BUT I STILL LOVE IT!
Miroku004 chapter 1 . 3/28/2004
O.o It was smallpox? Whoa... Well, least it wasn't the Black Plague, killed a third of Europe, that did
Rabid Dust Bunny chapter 1 . 3/28/2004
poor kagome, how is she going to deal with the fact that she destroys the world. it was a good fic, it was original and different .
Tawdry Lassie chapter 1 . 3/28/2004
Hey! I really liked that story! It was very original! Keep up with your writing! I love all of your stories! And when are you going to update A Shard in Kyoto?
Invisible Rain chapter 1 . 3/28/2004
That was incredibly different. It wasn't AU.. but it was different beyond anything I have read in this section. Implications of what she could bring back from the past wow... you really took that and ran with it. This is really impressive and it wasn't boring or cliche at all. I would like to know if she managed to get back to the source or whatever she is talking about.. perhaps a conclusion . Though even if you leave it at this.. its still amazing. Thanks for giving me something incredibly new to read :).
