Have just been re-reading Friday for the umpteenth time. I always

seem to cry at the last page of the epilogue - the issue of

normality and acceptance is powerful for me.

Found your story while Googling for Heinlein & Red Thursday.

The story was great - wish it had been longer. Since RAH has

passed away there's this sadness that we will never see or know

any more about the lives of these characters. But fan fiction

like yours opens windows on other parts of their story.

If I was going to criticize the story, which the blurb under the

comments box suggests we should, I'd say that the scene between

Friday and Trevor needs to be filled out more. More conversation,

more showing the characters going through intense emotional changes,

More of the "internal dialogue" that Friday always used during

the book to comment on the action.

And, of course, the whole story could open out to show Trevor

being inducted into Friday's (very) extended family, and giving

us a look at that family in daily life. (See the family scenes

from Time Enough for Love showing the beginnings and additions

to the Long family).

Thank you very much for this very good story. Friday was one of the 1st books of RAH that I had the pleasure of reading,and may I say your work does it justice. Both in flow and tone, your story could have been an addenda.

It was cute! I have to ACTUALLY go read the book now. Your fic was really well done. It's. a. small fandom to say the least, and you gave enough information of the book so it wasn't confusing for people who hadn't read it, but at the same time, it didn't retell the entire book. I loved it! Great story.

wow that was a realy good story to tell you the truth though i have never heard of this show but i would love to hear more about it but it was good...
