I love your portrayal of Eriol-It leaves out the extremism that is usually given to him. It feels very much like CLAMP probably intended. :)

Of course I remember this little episode. How could I not, when it was one of the part when I went crazy over a non-canon couple, crying out, the moment tomoyo got locked out, "omg, eriol locked tomoyo away, he's gonna go find her or something! he did it on purpose!" and i totally went rabid fangirl mode from there. needless to say, reading this fic and rediscovering some old fond memories were heartwarming (and just a little heartwrenching, too! i miss the days of ccs LOADS), and you captured eriol and tomoyo's personalities perfectly. i thought the last part of eriol wanting to finish his history essay was endearing in a strange little way. it's not very significant, but oh well, it was nice to see eriol actually doing his own homework being clow incarnation as he is.

Ah, this is one of those fics that captures Tomoyo and Eriol so perfectly. I really enjoy the thought that Ruby Moon and Spinel had a personal hand in the basketball - nice quirk. I love how Tomoyo's so matter-of-fact about Eriol. It's sad that she won't remember, though. Doesn't it ever get lonely for Eriol, to have to hide so much? ~ Crys

well done! i remember the episode (not its number, though), and you were able to paint a scene that was sadly sweet but thankfully not particularly mushy. it's this subtlety in mood that makes one-shots like this memorable, contrary to the abundance of fics out there that try their darnedest to live up to the term 'overkill'. this goes to my favorites list. :)
