I have been reading your story since the very first chapter you posted. I really hope you finish it. It’s one that I’ve reread many times and it would be a shame to leave it undone. No that even though we haven’t updated it in years I still have people hanging on every word just waiting for the next chapter!

I did feel like it was split into two though, and it made sense when I read your later A/N that your earlier chapters had started as a dare without much plot/thought. Chapters 1-12 was just OK but it had just enough hints and glimpses that story could get good (with a very powerful Kag with some unique interesting abilities) once Kag actually goes to spy/work for Sess. And while it's great that Naraku was dispatched with first, the whole Ch 1-12 felt like a very long intro and took too long to get to the actual story promised in your summary (where Kag goes to spy for Sess) and could've been condensed to like 2-3 chapters. Inuyasha was also kinda weird too, first he's cruel with his abusive words, uncaring of the hurt he causes K – then suddenly when K confesses her power, he's so very understanding. He not only already knew of her power and was waiting for her to confess, he told the others and even tried to keep them at bay and to wait till K confesses! Felt like he'd had a personality transplant XD. Anyways, I felt like the story (Kag working for Sess) starts from Ch13 and from then on it's really really great. Story's fascinating and gripping till the very last chapter. I for one, am really glad you took on that dare and wrote this story. Thanks!

I loved your OCs (well, Shouran, Aishi not so much…though I love his powers and his loyalty, difficult to like a would be rapist – he was gonna punish a servant for a small perceived slight by forcing himself on her!). The idea that a mysterious person can convince at least 4 high ranking staff within the 4 lords' own armies to turn against their lord, and even convince a pretty large portion of their armies to suddenly betray their lords (without any apparent reason) is pretty unbelievable, but you made it work cuz using a mysterious and powerful mind controlling Evil made it believable. When you brought in Darkness as the Evil mastermind behind Rokoshi/Samon (and presumably the other 3 puppets leading the uprising) who wasn't a youkai, could slink in/out of darkness and even project fear into all (even Sess) thought it was great cuz if it had been any other youkai, even a Daiyoukai lord, would've been skeptical. But when you brought in that even Darkness was being controlled by another creature, wow, I didn't see that coming and it made sense how it could've succeeded so far as no one knew who the real mastermind was.

I loved the unique powers – not only Kagome's (orbs, discs, healing, hiding and ghosting lol) but also the other youkai generals'. I also really loved the thought you put behind the story, even supposedly minor things that so many writers don't even see. Not only 1) Kagome's smarts in reminding Kikyo to keep the food wrappings till they could burn them so as to not leave any traces in feudal era but 2) my favorite is not having a 15-16yo middle schooler go all "my son!" on a boy who's about her little brother's age (well, mentally) and a Kag who's smart to not adopt Shippo thoughtlessly like so many other fics do, but she tries to foster independence and growth in him by keeping a little distance while Shippo's still left protected with Miroku and Sango. God, it's awesome to have a wise and smart Kag! Pretty rare in fics.

I really loved Kagome's sparring sessions with Sesshomaru (you do action scenes very well, and despite your concerns your dialogues are fine too!). You stated though that the story's almost done, and seems like there's only a chapter or two left…catch the master creature (what is he? A spider? So curious…) who's already imprisoned in his mind by Aishi, get SessKag's misunderstanding out of way and get them together (FINALLY!) and deal with Rokoshi/traitors as Sess takes back his lands…and since there's been nil SessKag fluff, maybe a chapter or two of them together? Of adorable mini Sesshys?! Anyway, I know it's a long shot since it's been so long, but I really hope you don't abandon this but finish this story someday. You did promise to finish it I your last A/N cuz you "hate leaving things undone" (insert big puppy dog eyes here). Either way, thanks so much for this story so far and hope you're well! :)
