jesus oliver; she was only 17! and thrust into a very atypical situation (after 3 yrs of nothing but atypical situations; as were all rangers , so I'll give you that) I mean, and this is being pedantic of course; especially considering the subject matter as a whole, but to go from being plucked from obscurity attending public high school in a wholesome, privileged, San Diego-esque Southern California (at least that's how I picture Angel Grove) to intensive live-in- a-gym compound in an all girls dormitory while training to compete at an Olympic level sport representing the USA on a national level...quite the shock to ones system, considering most have started on the track for this most their whole adolescence by the time they're teenagers at a live in, eat sleep and breathe your sport type of facility. damn Tommy cut her some slack! he really is being a dick about letting it go! however you wrote it so well, its believable and you walked the line between mad enough that its clear he never got over her and so angry hes being a petty butthurt child with taking immature shots at her (like I've read in several fics) which is just , to me, flat out silly and out of character given the time frame they're playing in.

I love this so much! especially this chapter, and of course the one where Kim and Tommy talk.I love the dialogue between Kim and the new rangers; made me giggle.

alsoI frequently fail to look at dates on fics of when they were written; but with all this map fuckery Kim seems to deal with, am I right by assuming GPS navigation just flat out isnt a thing yet? or here?

You have a glaring error in word usage in this chapter and in the previous chapter. You used the word 'lament' and 'laments' that doesn't fit with the context of the sentences. In the context of the sentences, it should have been 'layman' or 'layman's'.
