BohemianBabe8504 chapter 1 . 1/18/2005
*applaudes* That was wonderful! Very cute! It's nice to imagine Grima as Eowyns playmate when she was little.
Sat-IsisSuten Net chapter 1 . 1/17/2005
This is so very awesome! Very believable...although I think I might be biased because of my love of Gríma/Éowyn and all things Scandinavian. I linked your story on my Gríma/Éowyn list, that's how quality your story is.
Culumacilinte chapter 1 . 9/3/2004
Oh! Very good- it's sweet and fluffy and it makes me sad to think of what Wormtongue becomes. I love your descriptions and the narration from Grima's POV- very well written, very cool
Verse chapter 1 . 7/28/2004
Wonderful. I read this a few days ago and it has stuck in my mind ever since. Very delicate, sweet and sad.
kingmaker chapter 1 . 6/4/2004
Very nicely written. Seeing Eowyn in a moment not tinged by sorrow or death is always good, and the way that Grima was playing in his mind a role that he would later play in reality was quite clever.
Rookwood chapter 1 . 3/27/2004
Ah! That was a very touching piece. I enjoyed it muchly, although I haven't heard of the story you've based it on. Thanks for writing this!
Dernhelm chapter 1 . 3/23/2004
I love this! I saved it. I have never heard of the tale you speak of. Is there another tital to it? Please write me! Maybe there are more tales? Please write!
KittyCatBlack chapter 1 . 3/15/2004
This was a very well written piece. I wasn't bored and I really liked this. I had never heard of the story you speak of, but it sounds very interesting.
Grima and Éowyn are makings for a very good ficcy.
Keep up the fantastic work!

Hobbit-eyes chapter 1 . 3/15/2004
Wow - interesting. Most interesting. Hm. Ponder on this I will. Stop talking like Yoda I must. Makes me sound smart it doesn't. Hm.
Anyway, yes, this was very interesting. Never read Edelweiss, but it sounds familiar. . . maybe more stories about Grima and Eowyn in early days? Hm? Hm? GARGH! The Yoda subdued will not be! GARGH!
JayRain chapter 1 . 3/15/2004
This is very well-written, and is quite a different take on Grima. I think too often people (myself included) forget that he wasn't always quite so conniving as he is when we meet him in "Two Towers". I definitely felt tension during the hide and seek game, and as you nicely noted, it is a game that the court at Edoras will be playing all too much, too soon. It's almost tragic to see it in such an innocent form in your piece. Nice work.
