I read your fic for first time many, many years ago, in a completely different archive.

It is still one of the great classics of Evangelion fanfiction and one of the definining LAS (Love Asuka Shinji) stories. It is tragic, it is heart-warming, it is beautiful. Thank you very much for writing this.

My compliments. Asuka is by far my favorite character in Eva - I think she had a very complex personality, past, etc. - and I was hoping you'd be able to put this to good use. You sure as hell did. You captured her character, and Shinji's as well. I too have written many a sappy scenes between the "couple" so I can relate a bit to your fic. Not really...Yeah...
