I have to say that the ending about her thanking her and then hitting her was typical of him, he really doesn't seem to know how to deal with affection. I hope you keep on writing. So few writers actually mention the moments that Sasuke and Sakura share (especially the ones that the other don't know about (Sasuke telling Naruto to take Sakura and run, Sakura's fight with the Sound ninja, etc)) and remind readers of that significance. And you did it so well while keeping the fic running along. The only thing is the word choice of "hit", it has a negative connotation and it didn't really flow with the rest. But a fantastic piece :) |

I need to find new phrases to type.) ...though, the last sentence, 'And he hit her.' really gives negative vibes. Like, instead of knocking her out, he slapped her or punched her or something like that. ... nothing at all like the truth. (other than that, I like how her tears really affected him. and how you described the scene.) Have you ever read 'These Words' by 'reenas-as' ? It's about this scene too (and, this story sort of remind me of it. Not that the whole thing is similar, but more like the fact that he couldn't stay because he had to go off to avenge his family.) |
