Well, here comes the longest review I've ever written by far ...
Might as well start with a couple of construcrive criticisms. The first one is a bit of a characterization thing that is frankly hard to pinpoint as separate from personal style (so take with a grain of salt). While reading, I felt that Kagome, Inuyasha, and their relationship together seemed a bit on the immature side. I totally understand wanting to write them as the inexperienced teenagers they are, and your writing style does seem to be a bit more cartoony like that; but it became a bit worrying when their wedding was fast approaching and they were still in the middle of an "I'm not talking to you; I'm fed up with how you got upset last week" mode. I was always hoping they'd sit down and talk about what was going on between them and how they might try to help their relationship go a little smoother in the future, perhaps by improving their communication. Kagome's frequent use of the sit command in particular came off as ... not the most healthy relationship dynamic. I would have hoped that by the time of Naraku's defeat she'd be mostly done using that on him. (Although, from what I can tell, you were following the anime, not the manga, and that adaptation certainly encouraged rather liberal use of sitting.) I was really glad to see the two of them actually have a discusssion about this (after Inuyasha transfoms to fight Sukiono) but in a way that made the issue more confusing? The problem was identified as Inuyasha's overprotectiveness of Kagome, rooted in fear of losing her. This would have been a fine thing to work on if it weren't for the feeling I'd had before that his protectiveness was a demon instinct towards his mate (see how he behaves towards Hojo). I can't quite tell, though, if that's your writing or the fandom in general doing that. Protective-animal-instinct-Inuyasha is a pretty popular trope, and sometimes it's hard to distinguish that from a character fault or flaw. Thus, a bit hard to critique.
My one piece of solid criticism as far as the writing itself (and I haven't read your more recent writing so this may or may not still apply) is that you tend to mix characters' actions and spoken lines together in dialogue scenes. By that, I mean that, say, character A's actions sometimes end up in the same paragraph as character B's spoken lines. It's not a huge deal, but it makes it difficult sometimes to track with who's talking. So, I'd recommend always putting narration that describes a certain character in the same paragraph as that character's lines.
Okay. On to compliments, first for the major original characters. On Nancy: I liked her! It was really cool to see how she got a whole character arc throughout the second and third parts of the trilogy, despite not being a canon character from the series. I thought Sukiono was very well done too, as an antagonist and more later on. I was quite mystified by him during his first appearances, wondering what his intent may be. I'm glad he got a happy ending. Kikyou's ending, too, was nice. I think it took me a while to really get on board with her being given a second life, since I primarily see her as a character who was resolved to die-twice!-and wouldn't have wanted to be burdened with yet another attempt at a normal life. But here, she succeeded in living normally! I was quite happy for her by the end.
This trilogy also has one of my favorite fanfiction Kouga moments in it: the first time he sees Kagome after her rape, and says to her something like "At least you're alive; you could have died." I, for one, find moments like that to be really heartwarming: moments when it's shown how Kouga cares for Kagome beyond just attraction and jealosy of Inuyasha. He truly desires for her safety and worries about her when she is in danger. So, reading that was quite moving.
Lastly, one more miscellaneous thing: For me, it was a lot of fun reading the Romeo and Juliet scene from chapter 19. It was a good hearkening-back to the beginning of the story, and was especially impactful to me given that I've spent several months slowly working my way through this trilogy. Reading that scene took me back to the opening chapters of Confessions of a Broken Heart, which were a long time ago not just for the characters but for me as well. It did a good job of highlighting how far everyone has come in all this time.
So, on that note, I think all in all you did well with creating an engaging, coherent narrative over these three works, and in adding your own distinctive touch through new characters and plotlines. The Confessions Trilogy will definitely stick with me for a long time to come!

So ... would it be weird to say that I just binge-read this whole trilogy in two nights? Because I did.

I'm lost for words right now. You are extremely talented as a writer, and I commend your willingness and skill in tackling such difficult topics as rape, miscarriage, and teenage romance so effectively. You had me on the edge of my seat, I laughed, I cried, I cheered - you hit it home with this trilogy. Well done.

I am actually crying, this was such an unbelievably amazing trilogy. After reading The Kings Mistress I have absolutely devoured all of your writings, and I cried at the end of this. You have such an incredible gift with words and your stories are believable, funny, tender and sweet. I have truly enjoyed reading your amazing works!

Poor Kagome! No woman should have to lose her child like that.

I love the story. i Have read alot of amazing fanfictions, but this one hast to be my favorite. i just love how the story evolvs into something truly amazing. I also love the creativity on Nancy White, Sukiono, Sukiono's mother, etc. if i could rate this story 1-5 it would get a 10.

awwww i almost cried. i love this storey so much and i love what you did with it at the end. i have had so much trubble finishing these storeys now. i have to read a real book now because i have a book report due. but i get so easly sucjedc in to these. i admire your abilty to write and the way you have these written is butifull. i wish that this was more than a trilogy. But you could spawn another seires out of this one. about there adventures after all of this. the names of these books are wonderfull and i always think of them when writing my own storeys, wether a fanfiction or not. i wish i had the kind of writing style like you do. butiful, almost poetic. i relise all this may sound weird but... i love these boooks so much and it is so sad that it is only a trilogy. i felt the same way when i finished the final harry potter boook. and the final dragon keeper book. i hate finishing a seires of good books. i wish would never end but i want to know what happens in the end. well gotta go bye!

Aw...What a sweet ending. Although at this rate, with their extended lifespan and obvious fertility, I'm guessing Kagome and Inuyasha will end up with double digits in kids...Hehehehe 's going to be one happy grandmother...It's a nice ending, but I almost feel confused...I got the impression that this was about how evil is never really expunged from the earth, and while this does not mean that you should despair, it does mean that you must always be ready to fight, always ready to answer the call 'Soldiers in a Timeless Battle' indeed. This epilogue leads me to believe that I was incorrect. Oh well, I'll believe what I want, it's not like I can't interpret things the way I perceive them (and already do anyway). Good story, nice job with Sukiono, he was a very different villain than Naraku or Ted Wilkins, and you handled him well.

Hehehe...Nice. I always enjoy stories that break with the conformist attitude of school and education and career being of the utmost importance-people forget the goal, and if you'll humor me to say it, the meaning of life, which is to be happy. You go to school and get a good education because that is almost completely required in order to have a good career, and a good career is almost completely required in order to have the money to provide for yourself, and any family you might have, thus keeping you happy. But those are the means to the end, not the end itself, and many forget that. Thanks for being one of those who remember.

Interesting...So he's reverted back to who he was as a child, that part of him being the only part uncorrupted by Naraku...The way he treated Kagome was becoming more and more like that of a child to a mother as this progressed, but I never noticed until it was pointed out directly...I suppose Kagome's nature brought the childlike part of him out, and her arrow purified all the rest...Good sequence with the action, and handling of dialog, especially Sukiono's-his insanity and conviction was almost surreal in the end, but isn't that how it should be? Nice climax in general, and good job keeping it going with this plot twist.

Hehehe back to cliffies again are we? I love the juxtaposition between the tense, tragic, terror-filled atmosphere that comes with Sukiono's presence, versus the amusing sweet familiarity of Inuyasha and Kagome and their friends...It brings out the differences all the more to mix them together like that. Can't wait to see what happens next!

Yeah...You're really making me regret never having read Romeo and Juliet right now, you know that? My English teacher that year hated this play, so we read Titus Andronicus instead...Not exactly a romance, let alone fluffy. In fact, it's downright disgusting at times, kind of like Sweeney Todd meets Ancient Rome if you know what I mean. I enjoyed Inuyasha's introspection, and weirdly I wanted a cookie during the scene. Unintentional subliminal messaging? An unconscious desire to enter the scene myself, to dispense my own advice or share my own troubles, in hopes of a similarly wonderful resolution? Or was I just hungry? That is the question...Yeah, a lot of figurative language tends to have weird effects on me...
