This intro certainly snags a reader's appetite. _ Your prose is smooth to read and you portray the characters believably. The first time i read this, i actually saw Taikoubou and Fugen running in an incredible chase scene in my head. There's a heck of a lot of potential for this! I want to read more!

i never tire of this narrative no matter how many times i read it. houshin is just something that gives you so many things to explore - especially AUs... believable AUs! a detective is not far off from what taikoubou originally started out as, but to see it in a modern setting brings it closer to the reader's imagination and whets our appetite for more. :D
i've told you before how i enjoy your smooth prose and short sentences. maybe leave a space in between paragraphs? or a larger tab? anyway, that's just personal formatting preference on my part. XD ignore me ;P
and anyway, this introduction is great. i can't wait to see what kind of adventure taikoubou and his new 'partner' gets embroiled in. and you'll be introducing a slueth of other characters too, won't you? hm? HM? XD XD XD
