Vivsien chapter 1 . 1/26/2018 Oooh, this is interesting! Real food for thought, yes. |
thesetrailsend chapter 1 . 1/2/2018 This is one of those stories that leaves the reader speechless no matter how old it is. A great feat, amazing writing author-san. |
calliopechild chapter 1 . 2/20/2014 I loved this one. You managed to somehow make the angsty situation of Sakura being the only one left into something sort of hopeful-grimly hopeful, but hopeful nonetheless, and the ending was great. I absolutely adored the second-to-last line, which is just so perfect for this series and coming from Sakura: "They are ordinary children, and that is all she could ever hope for them." Just...perfect. Also, I think Sakura would make an awesome sensei, specifically when it comes to maintaining the fine Leaf tradition of traumatizing the heck out of her students. ;D |
Guest chapter 1 . 9/1/2013 Bunch of shit again! Sakura is not fucking strong! She would never be chosen as hokage. Not with naruto around. And sasuke would be the only one to die! He deserves death. So fuck off with your shit!" |
writingpenguin chapter 1 . 5/10/2013 It looks so short and simple, yet it tells a good lot. It shows a jaded Sakura finding students who she wishes would just live a normal childhood that everyone deserves- not the life that shinobi are damned to lead. It's vague, but at the same time, tells a lot on what could be a great story. I like it. :) |
Crazycally chapter 1 . 5/7/2012 That was deep and I think the most genuinly angsty of your stories that I have read so far. |
j.d.y chapter 1 . 8/19/2011 This is really sad... |
theprincesshime chapter 1 . 6/20/2010 :nods: I was really caught up by the whole 3 by 3 history repeats itself pattern in Naruto for some time so this really speaks to me. The angle you choose to tell the story from always packs the biggest emotional punch, this fic is no exception. I love that about your writing. And oh, this is such a plausible ending. Really it is. Hopefully the pattern will be broken somehow. |
kara chapter 1 . 3/26/2010 i love how you showed the never-ending cycle |
fiesa chapter 1 . 2/19/2010 Hm A very nice story, I like it a lot! Just a normal day, normal kids and normal training and a really matured Sakura. Id like to know what happened to Naruto and Sasuke, but this story is perfect without them, so I guess its not that important... I like the references to the number three, too. And to the fact that Sakura will be chosen as next Hokage - the fact she doesnt want the job will make her a great leader, Im sure. Good job! |
prettypriestess chapter 1 . 11/12/2009 Okay, at this point I am willing to admit that I am slowly working my way through your archive (with the fandoms I know, anyway-despite my mother's best efforts, I never got into Star Wars, though I am tempted to finally give in because I think I am thoroughly in love with your style). This fic is a little old, and either jossed, or AU, I can't tell (and I don't care-I love jossed fic even more than AU most days), and I love the feel of going in circles it gives because here's the good, hardworking boy who grew up to be Hokage dead again, and there's his teammate ready to take up the job, just like her mentor did, and there are her students, not-quite-ready for the world, but damned if she's not going to try to prepared them. It all feels like the series could have easily swayed this way-still almost could-and I think that is one of the things I like best. |
Rhea chapter 1 . 5/31/2009 :( but 3 |
puregarnet chapter 1 . 5/16/2009 Beautiful. But I wish there is more. |
Melitza chapter 1 . 11/16/2008 Even though this is a very short piece of work... somehow it strikes me as utterly epic. The way you portray huge events as happening as just-day-to-day-business-as-usual (Naruto dead, Hokage dead, Sasuke might as well be...), and the way Sakura cherishes the normalcy in the group, the way you craft the way history repeats itself - it's great. |
Morgaine of the Faeries chapter 1 . 10/19/2007 This was an amazing, quiet story. I really love your portrayal of Sakura, without the usually added themes of romance or of her being weak. I love how she's kind of the heir of Kakashi. I always did see her as outliving her teammates. Very sad, very enjoyable. I loved it! -Morgie |
