I loved this story like so much, I can't put it in a single review! It took me about one night and a morning to finish reading your finely detailed story, and I love it to death! The KaixRei scenes nearly killed me! It was just that beast. It was amazing, thank you for writing such an interesting story that got my inner fangirl screaming at 3 in the morning.. XD

all in all, a good fanfic. I've been sifting through so much trash on this website, but if I don't like something then I don't leave a review and usually don't even finish reading it. So the fact that I have reviewed tells you that I do like it.

Was Rei's no time being right speech the reason for the story title then?

I'm a little confused. I thought they'd been in Rei's room, that Kai had gone through to check on Rei and just stayed there overnight. And yet it was Kai's bathroom Kai went to and Rei sat outside of? Since Kai's face paint would have no place in the en-suite to the room Rei's in. So did he go out the room and to his own or what?

another long chapter, I like that. You did a great job, as ever, with the descriptions

I really liked the length of this chapter. The teasing was amusing. And that moment where Kai said "You're my best friend, Rei." reminded me of a really sweet moment from Sherlock. (Sherlock had said he doesn't have friends to John during an argument and then later, as a way of (awkwardly) apologising he told John again that he doesn't have friends, then added that he just had one)

Kai seemed pretty annoyed about the tree to begin with, then it seemed he just gave up

my best friend's mother is scared of storms, personally I love them. I don't like being out in the rain because it's cold and wet, but I love to watch a good thunderstorm. Unfortunately we don't get very often. I tried to record the last one we had here, the first I'd seen for years, but my camera stopped working and I didn't get any footage. That bummed me out.

However, the wind scared me last week at night when I was trying to sleep, but only because I'd just had a hellish week which ended with my neighbour being arrested. Which is why I'm able to relate to the being on edge thing you've described.

Hope I'm not annoying you with all these reviews. Some people seem to find it annoying for some reason, but personally I love when a reviewer takes the time to comment on every chapter.

Ray catching Kai out with that question about firing the butler then watching Kai flounder made me laugh, as did Kai's mental image of a cat, specifically that bit about the saucer of milk and ears scratched.

I don't like rain either, rain, sleet and snow, ugh. But showers or baths are nice lol

I think you've done a good job with them both in thought, their musings of each other and how they're trying to work things out
