Storm and logan make a good couple! Have you ever seen the episode where wolverine and storm are married in an alternate univurse ? That's the first time I have seen them introduced as a couple but after that they went back to the jean and wolverine scenario which sucks because storm is always alone . They never actually have storms love life in the t.v series there was also another timeline in the comicswere they had a mutant named forge which was storms old love storm seems always depressed but she doesn't show it which makes me sad ! So thankyou for making a rolo au fanfiction! It's very good, and great job with the accents! Rogue and gambit are my favorite characters I hate it when gambit is so selfish but he really cares for rogue I wishthat rogue can live happily ever after . It sucks that rogue can't touch but she is the most powerful mutant ever I think that her powers are tied with her emotions because everytime she absorbs someone she is scared so when she is not afraid she can control her powers . Rogue and gambit belong with eachother they are the same and yet they are opposite and that's why they draw eachother they can't escape eachother no matter how they try.

All in all I really enjoyed this story. My favorite part were the quotes in the begining of each chapter. I love Romy! especially with a happy ending. Good work! )

I'm sure you know about all the plot 'holes' already but I wanted to outline them for the both of us, anyways, just for the sake of my own 'fragile' *, fragile, yeah, right Amakusa, you and fragile go together like a cow and buggy*, so here goes...

Unfortunately, I found the ending a little confusing and disjointed. For one thing he didn't yet know about Joseph because in the encounter with Rogue at the saloon it was obvious that he was attempting to scope out whether he had any competition, so why even try to get over her since it seems he hadn't really given his original intentions a chance yet. For another, Rogue believed what he was saying even though she was dealing with a lot of pain at the mo' that Gambit hisself had dealt her, so apparently she would have believed him if he had just told her in the beginning and probably a lot more easily too. At least, that's what I gather from what you wrote.

Plus, I know we can't always get what we want but I DID want Gambit to exhibit a little more proactiveness in front of Rogue on the baby front, showing us that he had learned his lesson about sticking to the point when he's doing something, like leaving Rogue for the reasons he had in the first place AND having kids. I also think, at least just a teeny teeny bit, that Rogue accepted him back a mite too easily.

I am told that I do, occasionally, go a MITE overboard on fictional plot lines but that's just because there are no real life comparisons TO take 'retribution' for them. Still, I am sorry to say that in these cases I would have considered the ending happier if Rogue and Remy had parted ways, with mucho regret on Remy's part and little or none on Rogue's. That'll teach Remy to mess around with that Southern Gal's heart in such a 'fickle' manner, again. Lol. Anyways, I hope there is a continuation of this story about their kids. Plus, I will be looking for more stories by you. :)

Although I'm posting from the first chapter, I did read all the way through. A little heavy on the angst for my personal taste, but ROMY is the offical home of angst so I'm probably in the minority. What really makes this story stand out is the scale and the details.

Scale wise, the idea that 7 years could pass, and these two knuckleheads still haven't worked things out, or even spoken? I was totally enraged through the whole piece, only because I know how easy it is to let relationships stagnate, fade and die when you lose contact with someone. I like that everyone's lives went on, and that gets to the detail part. The Unlucky in Love table was a blast. If Remy and Rogue didn't realize their personal tragic romance was not so uncommon, they certainly got the point at the wedding. A great way of showing it was not too late for them. And poor Cecelia. . .sigh.

All in all, I really enjoyed this, even though I wanted to spank both of them with a wet noddle :)

hey! you are SO evil for making me think that it was remy asking rogue to dance when it WASN'T! okay, so he asked her later, but that's NOT the point! *grumbles indignantly* well, YAY for northstar - tons of gold stars for that "spicky cajun dish" line, THAT sure made me drool! i LOVE gay guys! obviously in a platonic way, but really, they're the best friends a girl can have! but moving on... hah, take THAT remy, yay for rogue's cold behaviour and saying no and such! yeah, that's right, i was CHEERING her on when she was rejecting him. well, that's just the type of person i am, the dweller, the brooder, always bitching and holding grudges about past events. so there!
