I know i dont know who you are, nor do you of I, but I couldn't prevent myself from telling you the following statements, as I do believe talent should be recognized. This was a truely amazing piece, unlike any others I've read, and exrodinarily well written. I would like to thank you for a really great piece of literature, to tell you that I have every intention of searching for any more pieces you may have, and to ask you to please, please, continue to write, as you are really quite gifted at it. Don't ever stop writing, no matter who tells you differently. It would be a true loss if you were to do so.

Wonderful, beautiful story. I love the way you return to the burned-hand theme at the end to show that finally, Sirius is cared for. It's quite a skill to keep a story flowing when you only have one snapshot per year, but you did that really well.

Oh gosh that was beautiful. Your writing style is just lovely, and the story was sweet without being too sappy. It also flowed really well. Usually it would bother me that the point of views and the ages were in no specific pattern, but the way you did it captured the right moments to make a wonderful story.

I know that you said that "This is far longer than it has any right to be." but I really wouldn't dream of it being shorter. It's wonderful. Just, the understanding between them,and just that bound. And I also love the way you cut the story, one year at a time. And the end is perfect. Because Sirius has always been Sirius and will always be, and Remus makes the difference, because he's not his father. He is what Sirius needed, and deserved somehow, rather than that foolish family. And what he finally got.

I love a wolfstar fic with a happy ending :) it was beautiful and angsty and I want to sincerely thank you.

I really enjoyed this! The whole story was perfectly described, and I always enjoyed a good build-up. Wonderful! I mostly like upper rates better, but this one was really sweet!
