Okay, first off, I'm reading this story all in one go and this is the first review I'm leaving 'cuz I'm loving the story so much that I haven't wanted to pause long enough to leave a review. You've done a great job with writing dialogue for these guys and your action, setting the scenes and tone is all top notch. One thing that made me giggle madly in this chapter was learning that the guy's name was Kenny, and he was gonna get killed, 'cuz "Oh my god, they killed Kenny." All in all, great job and I can't wait to read more of your stuff. Especially the Andromeda stories, but I hope you do more Fastland stuff in the future!

I loved the whole story, feeling so frustrated at times when I ran out of time to finish a chapter, but wanted Van to be okay, and really wanted Cade to go down.

I look forward to being able to read more stories like this in the future.

I just got into reading Fastlane fanfiction and I have to say this story is one of the best I've read. I was able to watch a few eps on a website that has just shut down (I had myself a 3 evening of watching up to the day they shut down and it was nice to watch them in English as I used to watch the show in French a few years ago). I think you've grasped Van's personality pretty well. I like the way you've written him (and the others as well). I know your story was written a few years ago but I sure hope you'll continue writing. Good job.

hehehe, it suprise me that she got out. But i'm wondering if it was a smart move to let Cade know that Van's still alive... He still could come after him in the hospital. And where is Van's father? Shouldn't relatives being called when something like this happens?

fantastic story. you were approaching angst-overdose on the van angst, and sometimes that made billie and deaq seem out of character. but i think the ending made up quite nicely for it. and this is THE best fastlane fic there is available, hands down. and i've read all of them [seeing as how there's only 3 pages of fics] so i should know. -. another one maybe? *puppy face.

Hi Cheryl, I’m from Brazil * that’s why my english is so bad*. Just wanted to say that I loved you fiction, everything was perfect, the Van angst, the partners friendship... And I must tell that the last dialogue between Van and Roberts was great, it couldn’t be any better! I also aprecciatte the whole Elvis Presley thing in the end, I’m crazy about him as much as I am about Fastlane. Thanks for this wonderful fiction and for keep Fastlane alive, it’s very important for the fans, you know that.

This is one of the best fics I've ever read in my life! Seriously, I was a little sad it ended. I really hope to see more from you in the future. Brillant writing, loved the twists. Intense, ANGSTY (key word hee hee), damn what a great story! -stands and claps-
