Is the story finished somewhere?

Just discovered this story. No clue how it ends as I never read the original. Like Charlotte’s storyline.

5 years on, it appears that the plot didn't actually pick up pretty quickly. Thank you anyway.

As Lewis De Bourgh is an uncle to Darcy by marriage only Darcy would have no relation at all to the Alcotts. That said given that they are both (however distantly) tied to the De Bourgh family it is understandable that they would be closely acquainted.

Basically the admiral would have been first cousins with any children born of the clarissa/robert union but that is it. The Admiral is not directly related to Anne de Bourgh and is certainly not related to the Fitzwilliams or Darcys.

I'm not clear on why it is the Admiral is being skipped over by the entail. Why is his families estate to go to his son upon his brothers death rather than going to him first?

I'm really enjoying the story but I admit the flexible and inconsistent ages of the Bingleys is really confusing.

Caroline has been described as 26, then later as 25. But she has also been described as being 3 years older than Charles and Eleanor who must be at least 25 if Eleanor married at 16 and has an 8 year old son (though he is sometimes described as 7). I don't really care what their ages are so much as that they keep changing. You might want to tweak it if you ever do an edit.

I have to join the voices lamenting your abandonment of this project. Hopefully your own love life has gone happily along. And you will soon have time to at least give us the outline of how you intended the story to conclude. I've really enjoyed it so far.

Really good beginning!

This is really good so far. What I'm enjoying the most is your characterization. You have believably made Mr. Collins into a somewhat sympathetic character and his marriage with Charlotte into a happy one for both parties. Your original characters are also well-developed. I hope you get a chance to get back to this.
