KyliaQuilor chapter 9 . 11/15/2014 A very well written fic, if with an all too sad ending. |
Constant Comment Tea chapter 9 . 1/1/2009 Wow! What a great story! You have a talent for writing that is refreshing to see. You took the canon and twisted it, but in a way that makes sense, that was compelling, and moving, and in which everything turned out alright, even though it wasn't a happy ending (which I'm *so* glad for. The story would have been ruined if everything turned out all sugary-happy). I really loved your take on the events surrounding Conner's kidnapping, and you did a great job with the characters. The story felt real to me: like I could see it happening this way in the canon (though I think if Joss had written it, we wouldn't know if Angel forgave Wesley, and he probably wouldn't have included the epilogue-Joss is too evil to let us be that content with how things turned out!). You convinced me, and I can be a hard one to convince, so great job! Really: fantastic work! |
pari106 chapter 1 . 11/2/2004 Now here's a fic that creates a whole other world of its own. I like the spin you put on things here - the shocking way Wesley fulfilled the prophecies at the end, all the characters that came into play and all their complex motivations. And, of course, all the emotion in this, the action, and Wesley playing Daddy :) |
Jedi Buttercup chapter 9 . 3/7/2004 Oh! Beautiful, but it made me cry more than once. Excellent writing. I wouldn't have minded seeing this on the show, except that my favorite character wouldn't have been around anymore. Well done. |
Jedi Buttercup chapter 8 . 3/7/2004 Train wreck! ... on to the next chapter ... |
WesLess chapter 9 . 3/7/2004 R.I.P Wesley... What a beautiful ending to a unique story. So sad! I have to say, I didn't see it coming at all, so well done you. And Angel's shanshu couldn't have come at a better time, kinda like Wesley's parting gift to him, don't you think? I really am so taken by your story that I can't think of anything else to say without repeating myself! I'll just finish with amazing, as usual, and I look forward to your next literaty treat. Love, Amy. x |
The 2nd Evil chapter 9 . 3/6/2004 :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( That was so sad! I really hope you continue this little series you have going on. |
Doremi4 chapter 9 . 3/6/2004 A wonderful end to this story. I did not expect Roger to kill Wes. *sniff* Did Norman know? He'd feel terrible if he did. I love the epilogue and the final verse. Fitting. I cried when Angel forgave Wes. I'm glad Wes had that before the end. It's just a brilliant and heart-wrenching end to the story. :( I really enjoyed reading this story. |
Imzadi chapter 9 . 3/6/2004 I've always loved Wes, almost as much as I love Lindsey. And he's a hero. This is almost too sad and too beautiful. I'm writing this with tears in my eyes for poor dear Wes. And also for his father, who never knew what a treasure he had for a son. And even for Holtz. I hope he and Justine were able to find a little happiness together. No matter how bad he had been, he had been hurt worse than any human should be, having to destroy his daughter. Let them have some peace and happiness. RIP, Wes. |
Tariq chapter 9 . 3/6/2004 Hi. BLOODY BRILLIANT! |
Tariq chapter 8 . 2/29/2004 Hi. COOL! PLZ CONTINUE! |
The 2nd Evil chapter 8 . 2/29/2004 That was so awesome! Can't wait until the finish. Go, Connor! Go! |
Eloise chapter 8 . 2/29/2004 Just trying a review myself, as I'm getting no email notification of the 4 new reviews, plus they're not showing up here either. Also, are returning my emails as spam - so I don't know how to tell them this is happening! |
shahid chapter 8 . 2/29/2004 AWESOME~ plz bring in the scoobies. also...plz show to what length WES is ready to go to protect conner. show that WES uses serious dark magic. update soon. |
Doremi4 chapter 8 . 2/29/2004 *does a merry dance* Wee, lots of action going on. I love the Halfrek/Angel conversation. Halfrek being calm in the face of Angel and Angel's mix of anger and loss. ‘Please, tell me where they’ve gone… I won’t hurt Wesley; I just want my son back!’ :( Poor Angel. I can feel the anguish and anger from this sentence alone. Man and Sajhan just knows how to dig it in Angel. Nice touch with the location. Nice follow up to Holtz/Justine and opening the door for Holtz to reconcile his hatred of Angel. George does not disappoint as well. I love that you compare him to Holtz's teachers and he's such a cool bast*. Poor muscles. Always getting the short end of the stick. :) Yay Wes and Connor's back. Now if only they can deal with Sajhan. PS Thanks for the tidbit on Roger. I need to go rewatch that ep. :) |
