Nice & cool & sweet

I swear I first discovered this fic on the early 00's online and was a fan and ever since every few years I think to myself, "God if only this pairing had fic as good as ICE by Leela Starsky" and then I come back and re-read it again. I must have re-read this story a thousand times and it's still pitch-perfect, the dialogue, the gentleness, the bickering, the way they resist the attraction. It's just gorgeous.

I read this like, a zillion years ago, but I'm mortified to realize that I never left you a note to tell you how great it is. I really, really love this classic tale. So clever! You are a fantastic writer.

The dialogue is very strong and you totally nail the bickering- the best example of this I have found.

I'm not sure if I reviewed this again back when I first read it but after today's reread I just HAVE to and it's not even negotiable! There is nothing about your fic that doesn't make me love it from beginning to end! I love that its during the ESB and that even though its this single event it just adds so much to the story and I love the way you portrayed the shift in their behaviors once the avalanche took place and they were alone and secluded cause it felt natural, you know what I mean? Its so realistically paced and so on character and I really can't imagine Han or Leia's behavior other than how you wrote it! It was brilliant and it once again warmed my heart and gave me all the SW scoundrel-Ice princess- feels and here, have all the hugs! and Leia's unexpected tampering with the Force was such a lovely touch! Its brilliant to see it manifest like that before the events of the ROTJ cause she obviously had it as potential and for sure there'd have been times when she'd how allowed to it to react more clearly. Anyway. This review is getting too long already and what I meant to say is that seeing Han and Leia loving each other at the start of their emotions is my favourite thing and THANK YOU for writing it for us! This is perfection! I loved it!

Nicely done. I like the surprise of the tunnel coming up in the wrong place. The Truth-or-Dare was nice, especially with Leia objecting to it so strongly. I like best, I think, Leia looking Han right in the eyes as she admits that, yes, she did really kiss him. She always confronts things head-on like that. I like the hint of Force sensitivity, and Luke pointing out that he hadn't know about himself at first either. Well done.
