Oh, I loved this! D and Leon are both beautifully in character, and it's a great addition to "Destruction" (one of my favorite chapters of the manga). I especially love the part where Leon thinks that nobody who smirks like D could possibly be innocent. ;-) And your description of the nightmarish, post-apocalyptic world was chilling in all the right ways. Thanks so much for such a great read!
