God what an awful fanfic! Why can't there be any real alternate universe fanfics that are not a crack fic.

This is very well-written. Even if I dislike the choices Faramir makes, it is your story after all. And who is to say he would not have done something terrible, if it meant a chance of pleasing his father? After all, he nearly sent the ring to gondor in ithilien. I'm glad you made it a dream, all the same. Otherwise it would just be too disturbing.

I like stories that show what could have been, but in dreams or such.
Poor Faramir; we never did see his reaction to learning of his brother's passing.

God, was I happy that this whole thing was only a dream. Well written and only a little bit out of character.
Oh Boromir, I truely believe that he would never have betrayed his little brother, even under the influence of the ring.
And you demonstrated this influence real well: such a wonderful man as Faramir was made to such a lunatic - incredible idea, the whole story - thanks for writing!

This was absolutely amazing. You had me going the entire time, and you hooked us in with the summary too. You are a very good prankster, and writer. I had chills running down my spine as Faramir did his evil deeds, and I feel that you showed the evil very well. It would have been better though to have Faramir struggling with taking the Ring or what he was doing in attempt to seize it. Very evil, and very well done. *shiver*

Wow! That was really good. It was so strange to see Faramir kill the other travelers, after he had given their appraisals at the Council meeting. But the way you wrote it, it was believable. And Boromir's death...not nearly as noble in the movie/book, but still touching with his parting words.
Anyway, Great fic! I loved the corrupt Faramir! Excellent Job!
