It’s probably been around 9-10 years since I last read this story, but it still comes to mind frequently and especially when I think of a romance and a soulmate trope written well. Glad to have properly found it again, and you can believe I can’t wait to read through this wonderful story.

Darling it has been an absolute pleasure to read this. It was truly magnificent. I loved the idea of them writing to each other and their character development. I'm still pissed Ron's ending was so anticlimactic. Like I wish he could have had his memories back and suffered the consequences of his actions. Even if he didn't mean to become a death eater of his own volition he still was repressing homophobic thoughts against his best friend. Well anyways I digress... I only wish was more accepting of smut. I will forever regret not being privy to those censored scenes. I will definitely be rereading this later.

I was very intrigued with the idea of the boys writing to each other and anonymously. I like the trope of them getting to know each other in secret can’t wait to get stuck in #HAFHDeathEaters #HAFHPotterHead

Tbh I found myself skipping most parts of this chapter. I kind of found it boring, apart from the whole journal writing.

i’m only halfway through this chapter, but it may have just ruined the whole story for me. both men are now acting like insecure middle school girls, and there is so much over-the-top contrived drama that i feel like i’m reading a parody ️ i’m going to try to keep going, but this doesn’t even feel like it fits with the rest of the story. pretty disappointed.

i really liked hermione from what we saw of her early in the story, and her politeness in dealing with draco... and then this chapter happened. she’s got a lot of nerve yelling at harry for what happened at the stag party. ron deserves everything g he got and more. that she expected harry to apologize and play nice completely changed my opinion of her, and she can go rot with ron and bill. other than that, i’m loving this story. it’s a slow burn with lots of twists and turns, the plot is excellent, and the writing is quite good (barring a few typos and grammatical errors here and there). very well done.

i’m assuming that oliver is cheating on harry from the little hints dropped here and there, and i hope harry finds out soon. loving the writing so far.

I absolutely loved this story and the emotions it invoked were heart wrenching, at times I could literally feel the vessels of my heart rupturing and and others I was so happy I cried. I find myself bitterly disappointed to have finished and I really wish there were more. I highly recommend!

HOLY. SHIT. Ginny? GINNY?! In Draco's bed? I was seriously expecting it to be Pansy. And you scared me for a moment because I seriously thought I was going to see Draco x Ginny (images are now forever implanted in my head, scarring me) but thankfully Draco is mostly into dudes and Ginny was just thrilled to meet a goal and get over it.

However I was surprised by the Devon thing. It seemed so...fast-pace. They meet, go out, have sex, and Draco hears I Love You. It's like...woah, let's put on the brakes. He may be beating himself for it now but I think he made the right call. It wouldn't be right to lead Devon on while looking other for the next best thing

I looooooooove. I find it funny that Harry would be edgy around a book, but then again given what happened 4th year you can't blame him for being cautious. Another thing I loved that you did: you had Ginny and Harry remain good friends. While I seriously don't like the two together romantically, I seriously do love their friendship. Glad that in this story, it's maintained. Also, happy that Harry decided to give this mysterious journal thing a try. I think he'll find it helpful. I know for me, while I usually write down stories than actual thoughts, I do find journals to be quite comforting

Looks like Harry isn't the only one affected by the war. Though I find it extreme that Draco blames him along with other parties for his injury, you can't help but feel sympathetic for him. Also, I'm surprised that Snape is alive. Are the two close or do they keep their distance from each other? However it was intriguing reading Draco's though process as he wrote in the book, especially what he said about love. I agree with him about Harry's situation with Oliver. As good as sex may be, it shouldn't be the foundation of a relationship.

Also, I think this is a good idea. Neither one knows it's the other they're talking to, which means there's no sense of bias in the journal entries, which also means they can get to know each other better without wondering of past prejudice and hostility. It will make it more easier when they meet face to face
