Oh, wow. I read this on a ZM/LN archive years ago and loved it and have definitely thought about it again since. This is so wonderful. I love Gundam Wing so much and miss the fandom.

You write well. And the story was really rather different than I expected, but it was a good different. Now...Ellen Datlow...that sounds so familiar...I wonder if I read the same analogy that influenced you. Hmmm... Ah well. Good story, AU, but I like AU.
