Well done! I don't suppose anyone's still writing Stargate SG1 stories? Love ones about Daniel or featuring him prominently. Having trouble Favoriting & Following using my cellphone, but it would be cool to see how NID handles the ship issue.

This was such an excellet story. I love how you brought Daniel back to life and how he remembered things from his assention. How he was able to do things that he didn't realize her could. i also enjoyed that personal time with the team and how all could see that Daniel and Sam belonged together. Loved the talk between Jack and Daniel over dinner. You have them down so well that I can very much see their characters as they speak. Brilliant job. SueM

I have only one question. Why couldn't they have just taken a blood sample? Dr. Fraiser wouldn't have been able to do a lot of other tests, but they could have at least done that without risking anyone. However, I guess they thought they didn't have that much time.

Ok. This was just incredible. I LOVED IT! Any chance there is a sequel because I didn't see one on this site. Or the 'soul mates' site. I'll look again, though.

I am very much a Jack/Sam kinda girl (well girl is not exactly accurate since it has been a loooong time since I was one.. lol.) However, I REALLY like the Daniel/Sam pairing too... -sigh- I never could come to a final decision on that particular topic.

Jack can definately be a grade A butt and he is showing his backside here, that's for sure. After all, Daniel was dead. Perhaps his feelings, aka, "heebie-jeebies" could be trusted? But, nooooo.

I do not know why he has to pick on Daniel so much. Glad Daniel grew to have an attitude of 'couldn't care less' (to a certain degree) when it came to Jack's rude childish behavior. (I do like Jack's fun childish behavior.. giggle.)

Nice story, I liked it a lot. It didn't have as many complexities to it as 'Turning Point', but the character interactions were enjoyable and the action and plot were good. I look forward to reading more of your stories. Don't know exactly how long before I review again :) After all, I will probably watch some SG1 episodes.

Definitely going to have to go and watch the episodes I have on DVD. I bought up to season 8 a while back, before I went on disability. I was looking over season 7 stuff on wiki to get a feel for where this story fit into things. I also only watched a few seasons of Atlantis. I think the lack of knowledge hides some obvious things from me that would point out why you have written what you did. I still enjoy it a great deal, but I also want to know why :) So the background is fun to look up. It's surprising that I don't like mysteries. I was also surprised when I looked at the number of chapters in this story. I didn't see that from what I had read so far. Like that gut feeling I had for Daniels visit to the infirmary, I also felt this would be a short story of romance. I look forward to seeing where you go with the story. I think I got that idea from your telling me that it was written between season 7 and 8. If so, I didn't give you enough credit (sorry) and was thinking you wouldn't go far with it.

We finally get a confession between the two :) Even if they both were thinking that it might be last words. I like your exploration of the group dynamic for SG1. You've brought up ideas that never occurred to me.

I'm not sure what you were trying to warn me against. Even if it's a first story (on this site) it still has a lot to recommend it. So far you've been consistent enough, and I like how you've taken from earlier episodes and extrapolated possible feelings for Daniel. I think it's well done. Now I wonder what's happening to him :) I haven't read the next chapter yet, but my gut is telling me that when Jack goes in to talk to Daniel, something is going to happen. Likely will be Daniel collapses. Of course, if you want to delay the problem, he could get out of the mountain and it could develop further. My gut is still telling me though, that he will be in the infirmary after Jack goes in :)

Oh, also when looking to try and place this story in the episode list, I think I found your site. Did a search on the next planet you had them going to (stargate P5C-801) and didn't find any stargate sites. I did find stargate-horizons though.

It's an interesting choice to have Daniel leave SG1. I wonder how many episodes after the one you mentioned in the prologue you watched. It's interesting to think if you wanted to change a specific thing that happens, or wanted to sail off into uncharted waters.

Hmm, sounds like emotions are played with near that building. Will be interesting to see what happens. If it's not the building,... I guess there are a number of reasons to focus on the emotions of the group. Could be the instigator of the romance in the story. Can't wait to find out :)
