I guess we're supposed to infer that she's cut off from finishing her sentence by his kissing her or something... but really, it would give such wonderful closure to the story by ending it with his reaction. Anyhoodle, I knew what was up as soon as I started reading. That's not your fault; I can just predict things. How would she know it's a boy? I mean, we know because it's on page 221 in Sauron Defeated, but she wouldn't. Only Elven mothers are gifted with foresight...that's in Sauron Defeated, too.
