wow. i can't believe i actually read that, let alone left a review. even more, i enjoyed that, a lot actually. so two of you wrote this? you've got quite a bit of talent on your hands. you sounded a little worried about it, but i thought the blues/forte pairing worked well. anything else would;ve been well...flat out twisted. amazing, simply amazing

I'm probnably not going to get to finish next chapter tonight- so I have to ask something. Do you know Forte adn Gospel's american names? (Or Japanese names, whichever these aren't...) I think they're Bass adn Treble, but... I haven't gotten that starightened out yet. And it's annoying me. I know Everyone else, but tht's annoying me... ::mutters unladylike phrases under breath::

ANYway, I like this story almost as much as 'Odds adn Ends'. I'll finish it ASAP, and I hope to see more from you two's collective minds eventually, if not soon.

Man, that has got to be one of the best Rockman stories out there. I laughed (A helluva a lot),cried (see above statement), and got my fave pairing (BluesxForte)

The only thing I didn't like was how quickly Blues died, and of course the incredibly sad ending. But they had to die anyhow.

Okay! Wow, that was a long fic. You had me up until two pages from the end, I swear. I don't really love this ending, but it's okay, I guess - clever, at least. Plus, authors' rights and all that good stuff... I still like this fic, anyway. 'twas good.

I also liked its tastefulness - and no, I'm not being sarcastic! It seems like practically any fic around that's rated R for sex (at least in part) is just a mis-rated lemon (frequently also badly-written, underage, crossbreeding, gay, or incestual, really a problem only when it's all of them simultaneously). This one didn't have that problem. Yeah, it was raunchy, but it was either interestingly raunchy or humorously raunchy at all times, and "R" really suited it well. It ran the line between "fading to black" and "crudeness" that was just perfect for its style. I'm probably making a bigger deal out of this than you think it deserves, but with all the mis-rated fics around these days, I was frankly delighted to find an author who seemed to have the skill and inclination to write lemons who never-the-less respected the required rating. So, really, bravo just for that.

The plot was pretty nice, too. Not really exceptional, but it didn't seem like that was the real point of the fic, anyway. It was interesting, though, and kept me curious.

The writing style, of course, was fantastic. Such beautiful darkness and angst. It was very well written, enough so that I'm amazed that it was co-written. The only good co-written things I've ever read before were parodies and other kinds of humor. Those can work, because it's okay if they're kind of disjointed. But angst? How did you ever manage this? (Seriously, I'm curious - I've tried it before and always failed miserably. What method was so successful for you?) It was really gut-wrenching at times, and very moving.

I think my favorite part, though, is your treatment of character development - i.e., they did! Well, Forte did, at least, and Light. Rock kinda stayed... Rock, Blues I guess is just a pretty secretive, unemotive guy to begin with, although there were some changes there, too. Forte, though, was fascinating. Best yet was that it was BELIEVABLE! He didn't just change overnight. It wasn't like Rock unleashed some dam in him and he suddenly became a gushing hippie, or who knows what. I've seen fics do that, and I'll overlook it because they're well-written or sappy or whatever, but it's still just lame. Yours, I can buy. It looked right. It felt right. I think about it and it STILL seems right. That's pretty darn impressive, and I think you deserve a lot of praise for managing that. For me, and for a lot of other people too by the looks of it, that's very tough - and you made it look so easy. Maybe you really worked at it, and if so kudos to you, but I have the sneaking suspicion that it's talent. There's some people in every field - art, science, music, whatever - that have in innate sense of what feels RIGHT. It's usually only a tiny facet of that field, and it might not make it easy to perfect something, but they at least have the advantage of knowing when something's wrong. It's really a cool gift, and you just seem like you have it for this. A great thing to get to see.

The only problem I had with the fic was that you rarely specified how much time was passing. Don't take that too literally - it would've been kind of lame if you'd said, "five days later," "two months later," at the beginning of every section. It's just that you usually gave little indication that I could find over even the ballpark of how long it'd been since we'd last cheeked in. I'd been ignoring this up until the point Forte and Blues slept together, or specifically, the bit after it where Wily activates Zero. I'm not much a one for "coincidences," although I fully support the theory that a hundred coincidences in a row are still just a hundred coincidences. The carnage starting the day right after Blues and Forte slept together, though, seemed just a bit strange for this fic, though... and also surprised me because, while you did give some indication of time passing that time, I guess I didn't interpret well the readiness state of Zero. Somewhat surprising. Then again, I guess the characters themselves were rather surprised, and I very much like the fact that you didn't give the readers a definite day, either. So it's not really a complaint, more just a... thought? A minor confusion that wasn't really a problem at all.

And, all in all, this really was a great fic. Dark and angsty and sweet and funny ("Wily sextoy is a natural blonde!" XD ), and all that good stuff. I don't think it really could be improved at all. A very good job, and this is going on my favorites list!

Okay, Dynamo/Rock just sounds Wrong with a capital W. Otherwise, the ending of the story nearly had me in tears. DAMN THESE DEATH FICS! No one *told* me it was a deathfic before I got hooked! DAMN YOU! GR!
anyway, yes, I'll read the sequel even though I don't like the pairing, just because I wanna see Rock repaired. Bye! (and there so better be one or I'll...)
