Reviews for A Boy, Lost
TodorokiIsHotAF chapter 14 . 5/24
This is honestly so good! I'm so glad that I found this and the way you sequenced the story just makes so much sense. I could tell that you did a lot of research to play out your scenes. I love it!
Nora chapter 16 . 5/21
Umm... Snape was like twice or three times Harry's age. I feel a bit uncomfortable that he has a crush on Harry.. :
PoliVamp chapter 26 . 5/18
Just read this story again - it's probably one of my all-time favorite fanfics. Hell, maybe one of my all-time favorite stories. Beautifully written, thanks for putting this out there for others to read.
Eagle-Eyes chapter 26 . 9/15/2019

LoonyLuiny chapter 26 . 9/15/2019
That was emotionally heavy. Very character rich. Thank you.

(Also, this makes the 1234th comment and I feel very privileged by this rare opportunity)
Guest chapter 26 . 4/22/2019
This really is an amazing fanfic! It portrays the characters extremely well to their personalities as well as how it changes over the course of the story. The only tiny problem I WAS able to look over was that Prof. Snape's father was actually a muggle so the whole- I loved the ideas and creativity of all the seance and all of the back story- his father being a death eater was never going to be accurate.(It is confirmed in The Half Blood Prince when Hermione finds out about his mother being a Prince before she married a muggle and changed her name) This made be laugh out loud at points which made a good contrast from some of the most serious bits. I love to read fanfics that are different and do not always seem to follow the same route with the harry/draco relationship; once it started it kept me on edge and almost made me exclaim 'you bloody idiot' or 'REALLY!' a few times.(probably not the best idea when you are ment to be asleep! Lol) The relationship that Harry and Ginny had was something to remember as I can not recall ever reading a fanfiction that has a had a pure and true friendship even though Ginny has had a crush on Harry as well as it not being anything more or hatred. It never seems nice to completely cast aside a character that he could clearly get along with even with a past that has taken place. This is probably one of a faves! I know was written before I was born but I love to show adoration for fanfics that deserve it!
This really was amazing!
And really recommend for anyone who has not read it yet to READ IT NOW.(I tried to leave out any spoilers or ideas of plot points in case anyone had not read it yet) Happy readings!
The Age of Awesomeness chapter 26 . 3/13/2019
Wow! Such an amazing fanfiction!
Guest chapter 6 . 12/9/2018
I love this chapter so much. Everything about it is so great and I love it all.
Isabelle Adamowitz chapter 6 . 8/15/2018
I got this far so I'll review: I think it gets better as it goes along. The leads read a little too much like girls in my opinion, not so much in what they say, more in what they do... I'm still curious to see how this progresses though.
Cheers-
ScriosAisling chapter 26 . 7/27/2018
Okay, I just reread this, and I have a question:
Did I miss it, or did I just read an entire Drarry story where they never called each other by their first names?
Anyway, the story is brilliant and I love it
Comrade'sRoza chapter 26 . 10/6/2017
Brilliantly written! One of the most unique stories I have read till date. The idea of Harry possessing a dementor to kill Voldemort was excellent!
Guest chapter 26 . 6/14/2017
I truly think this was brilliantly written... there were some slow bits, but I honestly think I like this battle and conclusion just as much as the original! Thanks so much!
YaGirlMo chapter 26 . 4/19/2017
Mmmmm, can't say whether or not I liked this story. I think so, but it honestly had me emotionally drained lol. I'll favorite this anyway.
MissMJS chapter 26 . 3/11/2017
It's easy to make a good story if one tries: have a plan, and add obstacles to overcome to accomplish that plan. What ISN'T easy is to capture the angst of having to overcome those obstacles, to portray the correct amount of angst. You, my beloved author, have achieved this very thing.

The angst in this was gorgeous. Were we, the readers, drowning in from the sorrow, the pain? No. We took those punches, and before we could black out, a flash of light, of life itself, would come and save our sanity. Then, back to those destructive blows.

To say I am impressed is an understatement. Never have I found a story were I was neither suffocated nor craving for more angst. I'm no dark person, but I can appreciate the depth of those emotions, the necessity of those emotions.

I adored the plot, the characterization (well, maybe not Snape entirely, but I'm not unsatisfied enough to really complain), the humor, the (again) angst, the development, and your writing over all.

Well done, you!
ScriosAisling chapter 26 . 2/22/2017
So, this is the second time I've read this, but I just realized that I never left a review.
I want to say thank you. This is a beautiful story that I never expected to find when reading the summary. But, more importantly, I want to thank you for the ending. Sometimes a happy ending is needed, sometimes there just needs to be closure. Some authors don't understand the second one, but you've captured it perfectly. It ends with the accepting of the loss of innocence. Perfection. So, again, thank you.
