This story is amazing! I feel that I read the early parts of it long ago, sometime within the first few years of you posting it. I’ve drifted in and out of the GW fandom for the past 20 years, but it has always had a soft spot in my heart. I am absolutely always on the lookout for good 1x2x1 fics, so I am quite surprised I didn’t find it on my last jaunt into the fandom a few years back, but I am incredibly glad I came across it this time.

The plot is extremely interesting; so much so that I could hardly put it down. I binged it over the course of two days.

I’ll admit, I can into it looking for romance, but I was equally happy to read a story that primarily focused all of the characters maturing emotionally and rekindling their friendships with a bit of slow burn, tentative romance along with it. Having some murder mystery thrown on top was a delightful icing on the cake.

I also really enjoyed your original characters. Most of them were quite likable and even Ketchin was rather pitiable.

This story will most certainly go into the collection of fics I re-read frequently. I really look forward to checking out your other stories (and am currently in the process of reading Your Body’s Poetry on ao3). Thank you so much for taking your time out to tell such a fascinating story!

Woah. I deeper look into Ketchin. It's interesting reading his analysis or the situation and seeing truths and misconceptions blend together to create his delusion. I actually like of like the balancing thing he noticed between Heero and Duo, even though he's got some points wrong. But apparently he doesn't think balance between 'life' and 'death' is good enough even though he noted that 'heero' floundered without his opposite to balance him. (Lol, Heero isn't really 'life' though, is he?)
Looks like Nataku might have spotted this stalker! I wonder what she told the others.

And Duo managed to put himself into something like a trance to search his memory. Finally managed to piece together his own emotions and motivations during the shooting.
It's good to see Quatre and Trowa healing even more. I'm glad the *cough* /moment/ the previous night didn't damage their relationship any.

Heero is hurting. He was warned that this stage would be difficult to get through, but that doesn't mean it didn't wear him down (though I'm sure he was sure he'd be fine). That video of Duo's was probably the last straw. Duo is remembering the mornings in his coma, that's good! "He needs routine" Heero had said chapters and months ago - how right he was. The broken routine is starting to get to Duo, though I wonder if he would continue to reject Heero if he saw him again. He wants the routine, but is still confused and convinced Heero is some kind of imposter. Nataku's scrapbook would be welcome right now, but I wonder if he would try to rationalize it away as a con.

Do you have any idea how many times this fic has brought me to the point that my eyes well up with tears and I have to force them back to continue reading? The sheer emotion you manage to convey is astounding!

I liked Nataku and Zeches' talk. It was great! And definitely better than a "bad guys vs good guys" sort of take on Epyon.
I'm glad that Catherine is doing better. As are Heero and the others - Une certainly can see it.

*swoon* Oh the healing in this fic! I love it so much! Excellent first steps - those are always hard.

I was kinda expecting Duo to wake up but holy shit! Heero promising to follow him into the afterlife and Duo manages to say 'no' but then he's unresponsive. Pretty good sign though since everyone thought he'd never do anything again - he opened his eyes!

you know, I don't think I realised the first read around that he's been found by a 'tramp'. I don't know what people thought Mr. Basilica deserved, they are paying them off, but I imagine Duo would have find it...not weird at all, he'd have maybe even a fond smile? or maybe not. but definitely not strange at all.

I love this story! It's one of those stories that you can't stop reading until you have finished it and even then you have to reread it! I love it!

I absolutely loved this story. It had so much depth to it. I can hardly begin to express everything that made this story so amazing. I love the character development, though I have to be honest I wish there had been more development of Duo and Heero's relationship. This is a story I can stay I will enjoy reading again and again! I also enjoyed how well written it was. There are a few errors here and there, but nothing that took away from the story. This story is going to stick in my mind for a very long time, 3
