Guest chapter 9 . 3/22 This is my only complaint. Omnimon was basically never formed... |
Guest chapter 9 . 6/18/2018 Here we are, 17 years after this series was completed and I've just finished the whole thing in 3 days. Excellent story. Great fight scenes. Seeing everyone re imagined as fighters, warriors alongside their digital partners in this way was really interesting! Would read again for sure. Thanks for all the hard work! :D |
Awesome chapter 1 . 11/16/2010 Yeah Canada rocks!... And so does the chapter w |
Lychee Green Tea chapter 9 . 7/9/2009 WOW what a wonderful series! I've just spent the last two days reading this non-stop! Well...almost non-stop! What an absolutely amazing story! I know it's been quite a few years, but I felt that this still deserves a review nonetheless. TK is my favorite character from Digimon, so I'm glad you made him so awesome and kick butt! Although, I do think that you could have focused a little bit more on the other Digidestined, particularly Joe. There were a few scenes that I imagined in my head as I read along. Like say, in The Long Winter, I can just somehow see it in my head that Matt would've gone up to Joe and told him that if anything happened to him, he would want Joe leading their little band of Destined. Then, Joe would've declined, saying he wasn't cut out for leadership, and recommended TK. It would've made a nice transition to the third installment since somehow TK is second-in-command and Joe is ranked below him. Also, the scenes with Tai and his gang trying to find Willis was extremely realistic. Others may have said that Willis needed a reality check, but in my opinion Willis would have had those doubts since he doesn't know anything about Digidestined. I've noticed throughout the series that you reuse words a lot within a couple paragraphs when you could have used more variety, and other such grammatical errors, but since it's been so many years, I'm positive that you're writing has improved drastically. TK kind of reminded me of Kira Yamato from Gundam Seed, actually. I don't think any of your characters were OOC at all. All of them had to have changed a lot over the years in a war, so I think the changes you made in their characters were very reasonable. Anyways, thank you for writing such an amazing masterpiece! You may not think of this as highly as your other series (which I'll be reading next), but it was still an amazing piece! Well done! Take care, ~LGT |
STU chapter 9 . 6/11/2009 *Shouts* "HELLO and everyone here". OK this IS my FIRST REVIEW so ok here it go's. Very good story I just finished reading the "OUT OF THE ASHES" saga and I am very pleased at this. *Smiles happly and speeaks proudly* Only one thing to say "VERY GREAT STORY" I am Very Happy this is good. I read this with my 91 min long play list on WMP titled 'Digimon Season 1, 2, 3 and Movie OST' and the Final Battle I changed it to the clip Obi Wan vs Anikan Final Battle in Revenge of The Sith with sound MODED to make the music stand out more. How to do this? esay have 'Enhancements on Graphic Equalizer set to MUSIC 28K, Then go to SRS WOW EFFECTS turn it on (if playing you'll notice the sound will change) put TruBass to 0% and the WOW Effect to 100% set Headphones for maximum effect. The clip music is better the sound effects will stay but more distorted good part at 4:49 to 5:03 hope this info is good. Oh and one more thing listen to Butter-Fly by Kouji Wada very good song, DIGIMON ON CARTOON NETWORK FOR 2009. |
ARCtheElite chapter 1 . 10/10/2008 Well, then. I know I'm a little late (very late actually, seeing as how this story was completed 7 years ago.), but I do want to leave a blurb here, in case anybody comes along. If you haven't already, read ALL of TK Takaishi's stories. Even the tearjerker. It's sad, but it's very beautiful. It's a shame TK Takaishi's gone (by the way, if you've decided to come back for whatever reason, then disregard what I just said), but he was THE best single writer I've ever seen here. There may have been better stories (not by much, though), but TK Takaishi was consistently the best writer I've ever come across. Truth is, I became inspired to create an account and start writing myself after reading his works. Thank you, TK Takaishi. Your writing was truly amazing. ...and on a sidenote. If anyone actually read all that, congratulations. |
Iaveina chapter 9 . 10/17/2006 Yay I got to the end! In one night, wow I'm fast tonight! Brilliant story! Love the ending and I'm so glad all the DD survived! |
Yami Vizzini chapter 9 . 11/13/2005 Whee... that was an exciting end of an action-packed epic! My one complaint is that Omnimon never showed up, especially since you originally gave Diaboromon's reason for invading as stopping Wargreymon and Metalgarurumon from combining- well, let's just say he succeeded. Neat read. |
SashaBatTzion chapter 9 . 5/7/2005 WOW. Just, WOW. Well, I came back and, at risk of sounding repetitive, WOW. I'm not a big fan of Takari, but the way you wrote it, it feels natural. I read the begainning of this story when I was a kid, but stopped reading halfway through because I wasn't aloud to read PG-13. I love it! Great story. |
crazy-gal chapter 9 . 3/5/2005 I love your story! It was great. If you were one of my close friends I will go... I hate you, you write so well. Hmmph, don't friend you anymore. But you're not and that quote above was a compliment. |
jonl chapter 1 . 10/21/2004 This series is one of the best I have ever read, rivaling some professional authors in detail and plot. Y'know, there is another case where the world was invaded. It took place in the 6th Japanese Digimon movie, when Parasimon (Mega Level, Parasite Digimon, Virus type) invaded the city of the Digimon Tamers (Season 3). You could write something like this trilogy about that event, couldn't you? |
M.A chapter 9 . 5/11/2004 OMG! I just want to say that I love your story I almost never review but your stories definetly deserve one. I almost never read anything that is not mostly romance but your story has everything. I just couldn't stop reading the saga. Congratulations on an excellent story |
Alex Warlorn chapter 1 . 4/5/2004 Sorry, I see you did continue. My fault. My mistake. I'm sorry. |
Tsukino Akume chapter 9 . 12/4/2003 This is without a doubt, the one of the most beautiful and fantastic stories I have ever read. I actually found it years ago, and was so deeply moved that I have repeatedly looked it up again. It's memorable, touching, and realistic. Your battle scenes are fairly easy to follow along, and the sad nostalgia in the Destined when they remember their lives before and after the war is wonderful. I thoroughly enjoy it every time I read it, and at times have difficulty believing it's a fanfic. Your work was inspiring to me as a writer, as well. I could gush for ages about this amazing work, but suffice to say it's a story I will never forget. |
Satyr chapter 9 . 8/20/2003 Well, it seems i dissappeared for a while doesn't it? But whatever, i read and RE-READ all of your fics, and i guess the last chapter deserves a review at least _. Well ... not bad on whole i must say, but i have a few suggestions, which are probably far too late, but here they are anyway: 1) You talk, way way, too much. Author's notes have the slight feel of an excited two year old, so i guess you can finish that chain of thought ... 2) Again, you use far too many expressions such as "the heaven's themselves", and "as if the heaven's and earth themselves werre trembling at the might of the power released" or something like that. Stop it 3) i think you have many very special gifts in writting, first and foremost, i have to congradulate you on your fight scenes, and th way you described them. second, i think you have a real gift for drama and emotional things, especially with the zion address. and last but not least, i think you have an amazing gift with the plot development, and pace. everything seems to come together with your fics, and it's really not something you get a lot with unproffessional works. Well, that's my blurb for today! |
