Great work on the first story, I just finished it.
was excited to hear of a sequel, but disappointed like i've been many times in fanfic by people just dropping off the face of the earth before finishing a story.

I hope for anyone that started reading and reviewing your sequel that you have posted the summary of what was expected to come so they could get some closure.

Oh, you're right- it isn't allowed. I hadn't know because I haven't been on- fanfiction started (and, in many cases, still does) annoy me a bit- a lot. Mostly that's just for stupid things though, [REST OF PARAGRAPH A DEMENTED RANT] like giving Legolas Greenleaf the power to fly (Tolkien, Lord of the Rings), or having Harry Potter screw Severus Snape (Rowling, harry Potter), or having Robbie the robot get suicidal and depressed (Asimov, the REAL 'I, Robot'), or Damon Lathe betray the Blackcollars (Timothy Zahn, The Blackcollar, the Backlash Mission, and one other.), or... you get the picture.

Um... basically, my usual comments on how I dislike romance stories/novels/etc. Also, who's Rebecca and why didn't I notice her before?

I love reading flashbacks in your story I don't mind waiting for chapters, I know where you're coming from with all of the busy-ness. University work for me is tough to balance with my work on here, but I try. :) Good job!

btw, did you realize you write "short chapter, I know" at the end of almost every chapter?

I just remembered! I'm on my sixth chapter in my jurassic park story, and i just realized one of my characters names is Brett! Oops! I guess I'll just have to change it. I remembered just last night that it was the same as yours. Oh well. Happy Writing!

jamie your story is at the top of my list once again! i am eagerly awaiting the next chapter. It's so exciting that he found the tree! and its so sad too! When i think about it its really sad because when i read i can see it in my head like a movie and i keep remembering the terrible *crunch* i heard in my head when Lane died! *sniff* Yeah...ok...sorry...the characters are so realistic it makes me sad becuz they're like, dead. ok anyways keep writing!
