What a great little string of ficlets. Nice to see huntress in there, and Barbara and and and ... good job
Lumichamomilla chapter 9 . 1/12/2015
Woah, re: that and all authors notes, you know a lot!
Lumichamomilla chapter 6 . 1/12/2015

- hahahahaha. Diana is the true Amazon, natch
argonis chapter 24 . 2/1/2004
Very well written. You have the ability to plunge the reader in the midst of a short scene without missing a beat or falling into the trap of over-describing things. I'm not familiar with most of these characters but all the vignettes were still very understandable and enjoyable.
My favorites were probably EEl's or Superman's, but I think the best-written one is Catwoman's. "The growl of a zipper was his companion's eloquent response" was a great line.
ProfessorSpork chapter 24 . 1/18/2004
Let me start off by saying I'm a big fan of your stuff from over at the "Birds of a Feather" archives, so when i found out you had an account on FFN, I rushed myself over as soon as possible, so, here I am.
This was great, very cute. I loved the Suprerman stuff, and Roy and Lian getting the tree was cute (despite lack of Cissie, supersitter).
Kimberly T chapter 24 . 12/25/2003
I really have to resume visiting this site more often; all these little gems popping up on a daily basis would have definitely made my pre-holiday hustle and bustle a little more enjoyable! Well, reading them all at once just made for a delightful Christmas treat! (And very sore eyes, staring at the screen while each page loaded, but it was worth it!)
Wizard1 chapter 24 . 12/24/2003
Merry Christmas!
I've just read these. Wow. You know, one can forget just how *big* the DCU is, and how small it is at the same time. These people lead individual lives, but lives that are interconnected, nonetheless.
I loved how you put Clark and Lois at the end. Superman is the oldest character in the current DCU, and in many ways, the main one. Still, if you ever consider an epilogue, how about one featuring all those who have gone before? Maybe a look from some dead heroes at those who still live.
Anyway, great work! Merry Christmas!
rubylis chapter 24 . 12/24/2003
Great job-take a bow! And thank you for giving me something to look forward to this month!
Birman chapter 19 . 12/21/2003
Love the vignettes. About this one though... Can't say I really cared much for Jade. Cool name for a not-exactly cool chick. She's like your typical slightly bitchy, mostly spoilt Rinoa(FF8) or Calista (Starwars Profic-dom) -type girl. Gets jealous all the time, having powers means more to her than people. I think Kyle's too good for her. Donna would have been great for him, if they'd stuck together and she hadn't died.

::smiles:: Just goes to show that I should have read Swamp Thing a time or two... I didn't KNOW that was where the KC Zatara came from (I was thinking along the B-TAS timelines on KC) ... Thanks for the info, Smitty.
And you've got a wonderful continuing group of ficlets here... Can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Tracey Claybon chapter 10 . 12/10/2003
Ah, Leslie - one of my favorite comics characters. The story's a charmer, just like her. Great short, Smitty!

Tracey Claybon chapter 6 . 12/7/2003
Hey there Smitty - happy holidays!
Bit of spoiler here for those who didn't read the Impulse series - This is about where I got behind on all my books -but I remember this.
Max Mercury was dying -something terminal to do with the Speed Force; when it was obvious he was dying, guardianship for him was arranged with Jay and Joan Garrick.
Meljean Brook chapter 5 . 12/6/2003
Who needs continuity for a snowball fight? :D
I like the different styles of writing you use for each vignette; it is especially apparent in the Gotham piece, and lends a different, but appropriate, flavor to the stories. Great job.
